Stamford Bridge is history and traditon and it's the only reason why we (the club) did not entered into the project of new arena. Who says he doesn't want new modern arena for Chelsea with capacity more than 60.000 seats? No one. But the problem is that we can't "create" new stadium on same place, becouse there are many problem (railway, cemetery, other buildings). I hope so that is possible to extend this stadium to 52.000 seats sometime in the future.
