He never let's us down. Absolute born leader and 100% EVERY game. Apart from after the Bridge gate scandal last year when his head seemed elsewhere,he was making uncharacteristic errors that i'd never seen from him before,apart from that he has been class basically since breaking into the first team. For which should have been even sooner as the ageing and starting to look useless Desailly was keeping him out of the team until Ranieri saw sense. He can never be too old as he never had the pace in the first place. If only we had another few JT's coming through the youth ranks,he can never be replaced. Despite us having the likes of Gallas,Desailly,Lebouef,Carvalho IMO they don't come close to JT.

Gerrard; 4 goals in 21 games. Lamps; 6 goals in 14 games. So not that injured. Anyway let's not use the word fair when talking about a scouser.

I think you only get an extra 1/2 mil for each place higher up,not a lot really. Massive difference between 2nd and 3rd though in terms of automiatic qualification for the CL.

Dare I say it, but Josh when older could fit well into that Barca side. Luiz at the moment would have been a great signing for them, luckily they are not backed by a billionaire otherwise they would be unstoppable. As for Torres, In 2008/09 season Drogba got 5 goals in 24 PL games, next season 2009/10 he got 29 goals in 32 PL games. So don't be surprised to all of a sudden see the goals flood in for El nino.

I remember years ago saying we should never sign French players as they're just trouble. This was the time of Lebouef saying he didn't want to be the club cretin and wanted his £16k a week wages doubled to £32k a week (alot at the time). Desailly saying we had no chance of winning the league before the season had even kicked off. Anelka sulking at the arse,and Viera claiming to be exhausted 4 games into the new season,then the likes of Ginola,Deschamps and Petit going on all the time abot the physical demands of the English league. Then there's Drogba with some of his ' misquotes' down the years.

There's not many games this month so a break will be good. Does kalou deserve a chance up front alongside Torres. Kalou can definately be more lively than Anelka and Drogs,he's alot younger and obviously quicker. You never know,he could be the one to gel with torres. With new wingers in the summer and the right coaching to put the ball in the box for the strikers,Torres will come good.

We've been awful all season. I think the training methods play a massive part. No player is complaining about training,probably because they've got it easy. Bring Van Gaal in the summer (only joking)

Why can't you just inject the desire,enthusiasm and drive of Terry into Torres and Drogba. They'll be getting 5 goals each in every game. JT will never be bettered or replaced.

What goes on in training is all I'd like to know. I think if Carlo is to stay we need new shooting and passing coaches. And someone to give them the occasional kick up the arse,Didier has managed to go through his time at Chelsea sulking and many below par performances without any one giving him a good slap.
