Stupid question maybe, but is Benayoun the only jewish player of the team ? He was the only one absent during Yom Kippour wasn't he ? The statement reads: The club did not make repesentations at the time as it was initially unclear as to the nature of the abuse Yossi received, as several players from both teams experienced similar treatment, sometimes louder and longer. However, having taken time to consider the issue fully, it has become apparent that a formal complaint was necessary.

Now Zhirkov's knee problems seems behind him, I don't know in what point the comparison between Johnson and him is to the advantage of AJ... Zhirkov is versatile and very good a 3 different roles on the pitch, either left back, box to box and left winger ; he is smarter and has an infinitely better vision than Johnson... Zhirkov has the stamina Johnson hasn't, the Russian has a better mentality than Johnson. Johnson at his best is just a substitute, we cannot envisage to make him a starter if he can play only 55mn every match before being drained ; he is unable to make the difference against top 8 teams, he is very unconstant... City would sell him at least 20m... No, really I don't see any positive aspect in bringing him to Chelsea. Again, we should have take him when he was at Boro, not now... He is nearly 24 and he seems to have peaked We need a right winger, not a false right winger as Johnson...

I don't worry, in 3 years he's gonna sign for Juventus... or Chelsea... !
-
He seems to have said that he would look at the opportunity, even more that Mancini reproached his attitude. I just had a nightmare: replacing Zhirkov by Adam "I-run-straigth-to-the-corner-flag" Johnson... It would be an incredibly bad piece of buisness!

Welcome, I think you may speak french, so bienvenue et amuse toi bien

I don't deny Anelka may start to lose importance for the next months. Me too, I do not hide to you that he has sometimes irritated me when he broke the rythm, but we cannot say he isn't able to bring quality to the team anymore. He has never been my favorite player, but it would be disrespectful to say that he is just a wanker and he is over whereas his contributions in the past was huge (we would have been in massive trouble without him the last seasons) and that he can still provide quality in the future It seems to be his last year at Chelsea, Sturridge proved he could take over gradually. Anelka's importance is gonna be declining, but it won't stop overnight

Villas Boas seems to want Rajkovic to gain a work permit !
-
Adam Johnson...
-
He has already score a great goal like that after a corner kick during the season, I remember the video. I think he would be the perfect signing, versatile and very intelligent in the game with his diagonal balls or through passes, also great shot...
-
Mancini is a victim, he canot handle such a squad... He just limits the damage Sturridge by example, I do agree... Anelka is able to help the team, once more he has played too much games for 3 years The games where he was static were due to a lack of energy not helped by the lack of turnover from Carlo. I'm pretty happy with his wing performances since Villas Boas was appointed, he acts more as a winger, he is more rigorous
-
Obviously if Pastore looks at Heinze or Veron, he may do his choice quickly !
-
He just offers a huge part in the building of the goals for 3 years, he has play almost every game and he is still a great passer not necessarly the assist but the pass before

Agüero landed in Manchester this morning

Make me score Yuri !!

He is on the verge of joining Inter on loan

Mate, the link has already been posted 2 messages above

But France played against a plastic team... Even Valbuena scored It's possible (if the rumour is really based...) that the first offer of 17m was in order to tess the waters... Rennes would ask at least 20m because it's less than 3 weeks before the beginning of the Ligue 1 and they already let M'Bia and Gyan go for around 15m.
-
At least we know he is alive, he is with the team which just arrived in Honk Kong, no crutches !
-
The player wouldn't come either, he his commited to Villa, he loves this club and he extended his contract...
-
They aren't on the same dynamics, Essien is on the downward slope because of his lack of form due to the too important number of games he played, he was able to compensate this season with his enormous panel of qualities, even playing badly, he was better than plenty of MF in the Championship... M'Vila is rising, nobody among the coaches around him has ever seen his limits in the game, he is constantly inceasing. Considering Essien won't be back before March, and even after he would be far from his real level if he loose some speed as lot of people after that kind of injury... M'Vila wouldn't exced time to be better than him, so yes, within a year he would be better...

Don't worry, I do completely agree with you, what I said is for me a part of the explanation why he is so weak since he came back from his injury. He lost all his defensive marks and his stamina, the rythm, he has also a huge confidence issue because he plays as if he wanted to prove again and prove to the others that he has still the level... Finding himself two vs one merely pushed him down, it's not the major explanation for all that I did not say that he was good in 2nd part of the season, I just noticed that it was a little less worse when Ramires came back helping him. But it didn't prevent him from commiting gross errors of appreciation When he arrived at Chelsea he was a strainer, he acquired some defensive and tactical rigor quite quickly after that and this injury and the long period of recovery broke his momentum, his rythm His worries comes from a complete loss of bearings, we have no other solution than keeping him and put him in good conditions this season because there isn't any decent players available on the marker if we want to replace him. I'm disappointed because he was a player that I liked much, even if he has lost everything that was part of his strength in the past... Messi would'nt have helped him, just a player who defends on his wing, as Ramires...
-
What I like about him is that he is decisive in the big games, his game has little waste because the number of opportunities that his team provides will not allow it. So he knows when to do what and when it should not be, contrary to Johnson or Downing who are stereotyped catapults and too bad if an important part of the balls they provide are inexpoitables for their team mates N'Zogbia has a good response against players stronger and when he can accelerate, he is very good to pass 2 or 3 opponents. When he goes inside, he always obtain something Despite all his first controls are not extraordinary neither his ability to steer the game, but it's quite logical because it is essentially a winger. His passing is in the standard, I think in a big team it would not be so for at Wigan
-
Even now y'know, his progression is linear, he has the ability for
-
To create a buzz I imagine
-
He is only good in Football Manager, he has a big potential but he has a very bad mentality, he feels pretentious and resulted. His selections have mounted him on the head, he didn't manage to reach the aim Toulouse's coach wanted him to reach: 5 goals and 5 assists. Olivier Sadran asks 15m for him, that's why Lyon said fuck off a month ago !
