  1. Ashley Young would be great but I don't see Villa letting him go somehow.
  2. You'd think so in theory, but I suspect building over the train lines would be problematic. The main thing is, where do the foundations go? If you can get around moving the track to get the foundations, the train line would still have to be closed for an extended period of time while the foundations are dug. And I don't see whoever owns those train lines agreeing to that.
  3. They built Fulham Broadway station mere feet from the stadium entrance but a few years ago, so that's clearly not going to happen
  4. Hahahahaha You're from South Africa so I guess you have no idea how stupid that would be
  5. The club and Scolari have come out to say we're not signing anyone before, so no, I don't think we are. We need a winger, but we may have found one in the name of Miroslav Stoch, in which case, we're fine. No, we don't need to replace Bridge, we have Ferreira and Ivanovic to cover until the summer when every player is available to us and not just certain ones. Then we can make a proper decision as to whether we think Ryan Bertrand can be Ashley Cole's understudy (or perhaps Jeffrey Bruma or Slobodan Rajkovic?) or whether we need to go out and buy a new left back. As for Cudicini, its pretty much the same. Hilario is a decent back-up keeper. And below that we have a young goalkeeper who may also deserve a chance at the first team. In the summer is a better time to decide whether we need to sign a senior goalie (I think perhaps we will, but to replace Hilario, not Cudicini).
  6. Esk, you summed it up perfectly.
  7. I'm disgusted he's been let go for free, and to Spurs. That said I have only but the upmost respect for the man. Thanks for the memories Carlo.
  8. That's not necessarily true, it is possible to do construction on one stand and keep the others open.
  9. Just about every league game sells out, if not every. The only time I remember a small crowd recently was against Rosenborg. I do believe there is also a waiting list for season tickets at the bridge.
  10. Depends on the terms of the loan. Last time we played Watford in the cup we had Lenny Pidgeley on loan there and we let him play.
  11. Actually I don't think there's much difference. Sure, there would have been if they'd bought Kaká, but they haven't.
  12. Its on BBC too. But just cause a bid is going to be made doesn't mean its going to be accepted!
  13. Welcome Danny. Feel free to ask any questions you have!
  14. Personally I think we didn't have a plan b for the Robinho signing because there was simply no-one else worth buying.
  15. From what I've seen of both players, Stoch is the better player. Sinclair has struggled to make a real impact in games when he's played for us, whereas Stoch came on against Stoke and basically inspired us to victory.
  16. I think starting a weakened team of players hungry to make their impact will leave us in better stead than playing a first team.
  17. You obviously completely missed the point Linda was making on this one. Scolari always chose Bosingwa and Deco, yes. But he didn't appear to have any other options instead of Robinho, which was what she was talking about.
  18. How can a club just sell their player to a third party without the player agreeing!!?
  19. I'm talking about over the season. Sinclair was available over the Christmas period when Malouda was injured but he didn't get a look in!
  20. Always stick around unless I've got some place to be very quickly.
  21. He should've given Sinclair a run out with Malouda playing shite and being injured, but he never did. But if he starts now that'll do I suppose!
  22. £9million is a very good price for Malouda. But when we only have him and Kalou as fit senior wingers until the end of the season, I guess we're gonna have to stick with him.
