  1. So you're saying we shouldn't get anyone in the double pivot because it will affect there lives?. Ok lets not make anymore signings at all, we've destroyed as much lives as it is.
  2. The fact of the matter is, even though Robbie might not of been a world class tactician, there is no doubt we would of had the spirit and fight to come back and win more games, we can't even do that for Benitez, we just crumble and play like shit when the other team scores. Yes we managed to come back this game, but what's good about that exactly? we shouldn't be losing to Bradford in the first place, i don't care if other teams drew and lost to league teams, we played almost a full strength team out there and drew. I know if we had Robbie this wouldn't be happening.
  3. Haha get in!, should be able to easily go to this one, the Riverside is only round the corner.
  4. Well I'm no fool, and most members on here would know that, you also need intelligent and hard working players in your team rather than world class skilled ones.
  5. Why post something like this? you think i don't find that obvious?. It's clearly obvious you need strength in all areas, world class players for your spine, John Obi Mikel couldn't get into any other team in the top 4, hell he couldn't even get into the liverpool side, I'm being honest, if Sahin couldn't then he certainly wont. Just think about that one, name one team Mikel would get into which finishes in top 6? There is no way we will win things if we carry on with someone like him in our midfield, he's wasting a vital space which is needed for a good player. He isn't anything like a winger where they can pass with there work rate now and then or inside forward.
  6. If that's what you think then so be it, but Ramires only has better pace. Well you just said it yourself, because I'm sure you would want us to challenge for the title?, then you know we must go for better than Mikel.
  7. Spot on, that will always be Ramires's problem, as not been good enough to actually establish himself as a key player. However we need him in our team, because i admire his passion and desire, all those vital goals he has scored and wonders he has produced now and then. He's also been excellent in big games in the past. Mikel, we all know my opinion on him, in ways i admire the support the Chelsea fans on here give him regardless of them being to delusional at times when he makes mistakes. But the fact is and you summed it up perfectly, he will never be as good as Makalele or Essien, look at his age, he's hardly going to improve, he's never shown signs of being world class either for me as he's never flourished or took his position and actually made it his. The bottom line is, we need better, we can't settle for 2nd best if we are to compete with the top teams. However people can't accept that or let it go, they keep the faith, which i admire but they are also blinded at times, when he makes mistakes they try to pin it on other players, or when we have losses he is never at fault. Romeu, I still have faith in this one, not now but i think he's the one in 5 year time will end up being excellent, unfortunately not at this club, or Barca either. He seems to be dropping constantly, but he's a good player and he will pick himself up in the future, however it's a lot harder for him to pick himself up here or at Barca, so maybe he will have to move to fulfill his potential. He's having so many injuries, especially when it's his time when he will get played, as Benitez loves Spaniards and shown that he wanted to play him.
  8. Not really, i used to want Tiote in but not to replace Mikel, i wanted a better ball winning midfielder into the team than Ramires. However now coming to think of it, Ramires would be a good squad player allround and rotation option, Tiote is better in the role however he isn't the strongest when it comes to passing the ball. Mikel is the weak link of the team, and we have to do much better. If we are going to build a team and Mikel is in the starting 11, we will never be a force to be reckoned with, reason being is he is wasting a space. Don't try and tell me within a few year Mikel will be one of the best passers in europe, he does have a decent long passing range but it's hardly special. It would be good to have a ball winning midfielder and a good central midfielder there who can pass a ball and cover. That's what i think anyway, though Mikel offers very little as he's terribly inconsistent with things, when Essien was injured he couldn't flourish and never has. People feel sorry for him and that's were the support comes from. It's a shame Liverpool gotten someone like Sahin, because i think Sahin would've made an excellent addition in our squad, it's strange how things work out. Even look at Arteta, what a player he is and can dictate the game, despite not being a great defensive option he does a great duty, be class to have a player like that, and Mikel is no where near.
  9. I keep seeing these African and French kids who have the big names, sorry if i can't narrow it down a bit more. However we should start going for players like that, but instead we want to play like Barcelona. We need physical players, offloading the players like Essien, Alex, Drogba and Anelka and not replacing them with similar players was a mistake. Especially Essien, we really lack an Essien, however i doubt we will ever get another one of them. It's a shame i think we where blessed to have Makalele and Essien, two of the best Defensive Midfielders i have ever seen in my life, gutted that they are gone. Compare our current midfielders to the ones we used to have... It's quite sad thinking about it really. Though it seems we aren't even bothering about signing anyone, once again it's going to be a huge mistake.
  10. Can someon tell me what the fuck is going on please? It's the 26th of January and we aren't even linked with anyone. We DEFINITELY need players, look at Newcastle they already had a huge squad in the first place and there still signing about 5 players. What the hell is going on? Why is our board stupid?.
  11. I'm not picking an arguement I'm just saying, and no I've never mentioned anything about Isco on this forum.
  12. Honesty if you were board of director or anyplace in charge of transfers we would of signed half the fucking world by now.
  13. I don't think Rafa is even respected by the players, Di Matteo was massively respected and he was a such a good character. But Di Matteo got so much wrong, and his huge problem was not being logical enough. We won the Champions League down to so much faith and belief, we had such a weak team who couldn't produce any creativity or have any flair to show off, the only spark was Mata and he wasn't doing so good come the end of the season. But we gambled and gambled and it kept paying off, due to the massive belief (AVB getting kicked out and Robbie taking over i think). We definitely had a lot of luck down the road, had Messi and Robben scored there penalties, could've been a different story easily. Then Roberto went out into the next season and it was a different game, it wasn't about holding out till the end of the season anymore, it wasn't about this is our last chance we have to take it. This time it was a new road and starting a new team, and Di Matteo wasn't logical about it. We just bought number 10's and one right back, when we clearly needed a lot more defensive cover, he put too much faith into the team because of how well we defended. But not just that, he wasn't logical agianst United or Juventus, he tried to outplay Juventus when they are a better team, he played through the middle against United despite United scoring most of there goals from wide counter attacks. And that resulted us from conceding 2 goals in 10 minutes due to two crossing counter attacks. Now I'll get to FSW, Benitez hasn't proved anything at Chelsea besides being a tosser to us in his liverpool days. When AVB got kicked out it benefited us with Robbie the legend coming in, now that Robbie got kicked out and Rafa came in... It was only obvious it was going to go downhill, Rafa has made some shocking decisions so far which have cost us, we are far too inconsistent. Under Di Matteo we weren't inconsistent, we just had a rough patch (which went on for a bit too long), Benitez can't get the best out of his players, and he never will, how can we even trust the man?. Call me paranoid but i sometimes think he does some of the stuff on purpose, why aren't we signing anymore players? it's just getting stupid now. Torres is clearly playing awful and nothing is getting done about it, I have never seen so much protection for such a shit player in all my life. But to come to my conclusion, we need the right man, the only man i can think of is Mourinho. However i think getting rid of Benitez and someone iconic coming in who has proved himself before or is known to the players would really have an impact coming into the side. Just like when AVB went and Di Matteo came in, we need someone as you said who can use his 'tools' and actually get some results, and it isn't just about managers, look how vital Wilkins proved to be. We need a clever man and a person or people who can help the players, maybe then we can actually see some blue daylight.
  14. The way they went on you would of thought Hazard rock bottomed the kid. It's a shame because if you look at it, Hazard did NOTHING WRONG AT ALL!. Literally nothing, he didn't even touch the kid, shocking overreacting, and then police are investigating it which is pathetic, and F.A will end up giving him a lengthy ban no doubt. When really it should be Swansea getting fined for allowing such unacceptable staff when he announced on twitter he was going to time waste before the game, and Hazards red card getting turned down.
  15. Despite you looking at it than more than one way, unlike most people, you're still being far too soft on Rafa. Benitez has to be blamed for Swansea, he got it all wrong, where was Marin? we needed width and where is he?. He's a good player and he never plays, instead our attackers where all heavily marked and we couldn't play a short passing game. We need midfielders and we aren't signing one, we've only signed Demba Ba and that's it, it really isn't good enough. You can't just blame it all on the players, it doesn't work like that, and since when has it?. Different manager players play different, it's evident that the manager has control, if Benitez can't motivate them or anything then it's him who is the fault not the players. You might not like that but it's the way it works now, I don't like it here, but if there's any blame then blame the board. Di Matteo had a bad month, looking at it again he didn't deserve the sack, but it was clear Roman didn't want him in the first place, now the board have gotten themselves into huge trouble as they can't sack Rafa as there are no replacements.
  16. By the way did anyone hear TalkSport when Hazard got sent off? it was pathetic the way they want on it was like Hazard killed the kid, no wonder people where wanting his head when they hadn't of even seen the match.
  17. If his red card doesn't get turned down then there is something wrong with the FA seriously. He literally did nothing at all, he didn't even touch the kid for fuck sake, that gif right there shows just about as much evidence.
  18. The worst part for me about Rafa is not his dodgy tactics or subs, it's that i don't trust him at all. I loved Ancelotti and Di Matteo and i was very confident in AVB at the time, but Rafa i constantly feel the man is doing it on purpose despite how stupid it sounds. If we had to come down from a 2-0 defeat, no way would i believe we could do it, because how could you trust Rafa? even now i still don't feel he gives a damn about the team or club.
  19. I've said it before and I'll say it again, we need NEW MIDFIELDERS. Rafa got it all wrong yesterday, Swansea read us like a book, they knew we where just trying to go through the centre, so they heavily marked, and instantly pressured the players such as Hazard and then left Demba Ba as he couldn't do anything what couldn't stem from those type of players. This is because we have no good DM's, Ramires offers very little going forward, he is a good engine but we still need better. Look at Lampard against Stoke, his passing range was beautiful, but Lampard does that every once in 10 games, if that, we need a consistent passer of the ball. And we don't fucking sign anyone, it's like the board are blind. This is the 3rd season we've lacked a DM and who have we bought? the only midfielder we have bought is Raul Meireles since, are you fucking kidding me?. Meireles has no creativity in him, he was a very average player at just about everything but had a good long shooting range. And we need a new striker desperately, I've said this before but it's so shameful to see despite spending almost 100 million in the summer we still haven't been able to work out our problems. If you given that money to Newcastle, they would of been fucking challenging for the title (well with buying a new manager out of that money also).
  20. Lol i thought you were a United fan.
  21. I've heard please just end this season for 3 fucking seasons now. When are we actually going to have a good season?
  22. He didn't kick the ballboy, he kicked the ball underneath him, what do you expect him to do?. You can't just lay on top of it, Hazard does not deserve a fine or anything let alone a sending off.
  23. The fact that Hazard went for the ball.
  24. Kid? he's old enough to work and instead he's being an immature brat and publicly announcing on twitter he is going to time waste and then goes starts making a big deal out of a little touch, when hazard was going for the ball. He wasn't doing his job at all, a 17 year old diving like that, just shocking.
  25. Jesus christ... I seriously need to start reading my posts before i actually submit them, the amount of spelling mistakes and grammar i make.
