  1. I used Hernique and Justin as examples, you asked for an example didn't you? you want to go look, go look for yourself, I'm not going through Lukaku thread for you, DIY!. Uhmm maybe Torres is like what 28 years old? so once again you say things before you even think. Funny mockery that like, your attempts at being funny is just stupid, you only did it to get friends, i remember when you first joined you wern't liked very much till you started acting daft. But here I'll give you some internet fame mate, you spoke to the great and all mighty Kojo, go tell your friends, they will be most pleased.
  2. Obviously i meant consistently... people on this forum need common sense.
  3. Are you kidding me? you want me to find you a post? just go look at Henrique or Justin 3D they said it more than one hundred bloody times. He wasn't given chances by the fans at all, pure 100 percent myth! only some Belgians backed him, most of this forum and fans gave up on him, and i bet a lot of people would admit right now that they underestimated Lukaku. McEachran DOES play deep, because you see i watch him play. He always midfielders movement, he had a few games where he played up with Ledesma when he first arrived, he was constantly getting Justin Hoyte into the game, it's like the best game I've ever seen Justin Hoyte had in his career, McEachran was feeding him in every single time. If you think Josh is a average player, then simply go watch his games under Ancelotti when he was 17, especially the Marseille one. He's a good talent, you're giving up on him, wouldn't surprise me if you gave up on Lukaku too, if we don't have any faith in youngsters then what is even the point in the academy?. I understand in being honest and having logic, like Gael Kakuta has had lots of loans, yes he is arguably unlucky but he's proven he's not good enough. McEachran as I've said isn't a player who contains such things as flair, he's not going to show he's a cracking talent at such early ages like that. Because a lot of his work goes unnoticed, give him a chance and we will see what happens, he's a good player and he's doing well for Boro, there should be no complains at the moment. But certainly no high expectations as theirs still a lot of time for him, I've already put out my reasons for it, age is obviously relevent, if you honeslty believe that age is not even a factor at all, then I'm not replying as it would be very pointless.
  4. So age doesn't matter now? lmao how can you say age is irrelevent when that's clearly not the case, almost every player gets better as age goes on. Just look at McEachran, he's playing good football, you're aren't even watching him yet you're saying he's not doing very well. You commented on him getting subbed off yet you never even seen the game, that just sums it up for me to be honest. You're far too impatient, you probably expect him to be the next Juan Mata or Lampard or some bull shit like that. I would love to just speed up McEachrans development now, because we really need a player what he is capable of in the double pivot. But that wont be for quite a while, but of course these wonderkids really need to start performing now don't they?. I guess McEachran should be scoring at least 1 overhead kick on average per game.
  5. I know, just found that out now, It's a shame because he was one hell of a player. Gordon Strachan was a terrible manager, but he bought some great players, bar Kris Boyd.
  6. I don't even know how you have the nerve to say this isn't football manager or FIFA, yet you're the one who is clearly short sighted, getting rid of players. You're saying people gave Lukaku a chance? funniest post I've seen for a long time my friend, go look in Lukaku thread when it was pre season, the amount of people who wanted him gone it wasn't even funny, people said his first touch is just too bad that he wont even make it in the premier league alone. He's clearly a deep player, I've watched few games myself he constantly covers, the likes of Leadbitter go forward, as Haroun sticks wide, McEachran sticks at the back, hence why he has no goals this season. You where never a good poster anyway, and your ignorance has just shown that, all you do is try to mock me when there is nothing to mock, fact is my logic is better than yours, it's pretty clear. But go be your weird self and try to humor us all with your stupid attemps. Because the fact you don't even know where this guy plays just shows that you clearly don't watch him.
  7. Exactly, Messi wasn't starting full games till he was 22. I don't know where people get the work rate from, it's Championship football, Championship football is based on high work rate, if he didn't work hard he wouldn't start every single game, Mowbray has a massive squad and can replace McEachran, but he plays him almost every game, hell they are even going to sell Kevin Thompson because he can't get a game. The guy is injury prone yeah but he's one of the best DM's in the Championship when he starts playing, yet McEachran has been getting his game over him all season, so he must be doing something right. I wont lie i haven't seen as much as McEachran as i should've this year, but he must be doing good because all i hear from my friends is praise after praise and he's constantly playing full games.
  8. Jesus christ, have some fucking patience, he's 19 years old. No one gave Lukaku a chance and now look at him, thing is with McEachran he's the type of midfielder where experience is vital, he will get that eventually. His passing range and dribbling is fantastic, i love how he contains the ball, so you're mad that he can't run about? you think that can't change?. We are way too impatient no wonder we don't have any good youth products recently, we just want rid of our young players. I've said it before and I'll say it again, we wont see McEachran play for us till he's at least 23 or 24, he has loads of time. A midfielder with the vision and passing he has is too good to just flop and die away forever, if he leaves Chelsea he will end up very good somewhere else. Leif you are expecting a Juan Mata or someone like that, you have to learn to be patient, McEachran is a deep player, it's going to take time. EDIT: Oh and by the way Leif did you even watch the game? or just seen that he got subbed off? because a lot of my mates are saying he had a good game, some facebook status's even mentioning the likes of Bikey, Leadbitter and McEachran were immense.
  9. I love how Lukaku has proven so many wrong, just go back through this thread when it was pre season, and most of you were saying he will never make it. Because he had a bad first touch and all this and that, Justin 3d & Henrique especially! And now look! we have to be patient with these players, I've always stuck by Romelu, and i stick by McEachran also. They will both become good players for this team.
  10. It doesn't matter if he provided some assists, that's mainly due to the fact he was constantly overplayed and he's obviously going to have some affect just like any player would and all he did was back off. Being a team player is like Didier Drogba, Drogba wasn't a goal scoring striker, goals just came with him because he was that good. The amount of team goals we had because of Drogs was crazy, Anelka, Malouda & Kalou were grabbing shit loads. Due to the fact Drogba could get his team into the game, Torres is just messed up, he can't play in the system and he has been very poor when given chances, it's like his mentallity isn't there at all, and it never will be. Like i said you can't have that as an example, Torres is not a team player, he's a player who is lost. Cavani is probably the closest striker to Drogba at the moment who is 'world class' standard, and he's way off, so it's saying something. Not in terms of class, just how much of an impact Drogba has on a team, Cavani however has better impacts in some areas, he's a very brave striker who relishes oppertunities, look at his goals agianst City, he's a monster player. Against us when his team was losing 4-1, despite the team not being able to give him assistance, i remember the lad running back in defence and covering and marking drogs, he even stopped Drogba from getting a one on one. That's fantastic mentallity it really is, most strikers would give up (strikers who have Cavani's technique do anyway, as most have their own arrogance, Drogba was one of them). But you are definitely right, Falcao would probably come here and score goals, but you have to think of the money. I think it would be much better spent on Cavani, as Demba Ba is similar to Falcao (obviously he is some way off in terms of class, but as a goal scoring striker who gets upfront all the time) we already have that goal scoring striker to bring on, however we don't have anyone who can do what Cavani can do upfront. Only Drogba has been able to do that job for us eversince Roman arrived, being the dominent forward upfront, even when managers changed their systems which kicked Drogba out, he still somehow found a way to get into the team and prove he's number one.
  11. I know it's gone to shit, but even you know yourself that we can't do that. We are going to need a striker regardless, Lukaku is still too young for me, huge pressure, and he still has to prove himself regardless, Demba Ba is a good player but he's not great. We are going to need that forward, it wont always be this way, we will have another great striker one day.
  12. That's a bad example though don't you think? Torres is just plain shit, he's not a team player or a goal poacher, he's just shit. Cavani is a leader, he is a captain upfront, he demands goals, he doesn't go cry or sulk when he can't score goals, he goes out and makes sure he scores goals. Cavani is also a very tough player and will get on the end of anything, just the type of players you want in the Premier league, with a good first touch and good technical abillities, has a good finish on him, perfect striker. In a good team he could net you 30 a season in my honest opinion, he's very underrated. Where as Falcao is dominent, but he would be extreemly ineffective if the team isn't playing well or can't provide creativity. Falcao struggles to make a simple pass, although he's probably one of the best goal scorers in the world, however Cavani benefits the side more. You can use Torres as an example, but i can use the example of all the goal poachers who have came here and failed, only Drogba was a worthy striker and he was far from a goal poacher, he was a team player. Anelka was a fantastic player, goal poacher now and then but hardly overall.
  13. I do agree, although Courtois should not be sold to Attletico, huge mistake that would be, even if we where to get Falcao. Falcao is a cracking player, but i would prefer to get Cavani as he will suit our system more, he's more of a team player rather than a goal poacher.
  14. Lmfao unbelievable... now that he's having a few bad games he will be a flop, just watch he will get a hattrick or something and next thing you know half the people on this thread will be dick riding him and wanting roman to go spend about 45 million on him.
  15. Urr WRONG, we have fantastic midfielders m8.
  16. Why are you all so quick to write teams off? Last season City done the impossible, this time there is a much bigger chance of them doing it again, as it's still only Feb. All United have are good heads and big mentallity, they got complacent last time, they could do it again, it's not like they have a great side.
  17. It's actually a very weak league, it hardly invovles skill, just spirit, but in some cases bribing and luck for United. They manage to scrape out just about everything, whilst other top elite teams dominate, and all the typical PL fans all think that's because they are weak leagues with weak teams, yeah sure it might not be entertaining as PL, i do think our league is the most entertaining, but when it comes down to who is the best we certainly aren't that's for sure. The average La Liga or Serie A team always rapes the average PL team, just look at Europa, they always end up smashing our teams.
  18. Rafa should be sacked for starting Torres, what the fuck is the point in it? he offers fuck all, runs into the player just like that, useless bastard. Demba Ba has to start these games.
  19. Not to mention Mikel has gotten further than Toure in the tournament.
  20. Aye i agree, i don't even get the point in this thread, fair enough if Ronaldinho was going to retire or someone with such a legandary status, but this is Jamie Carragher. Why would you leave Liverpool anyway? It's not like any other club was going to have him, he was very average, not to mention you can't leave Liverpool without the clubs fans threatening to burn your house down and murder your family.
  21. I doubt he will ever come back, especially at the moment, what the hell will he come here for?. We have no good players for any position, it's a messed up team, I've never seen a team with so much unbalance in my whole life, why would Mourinho go here. He could probably get a better job elsewhere if he doesn't want to go to Madrid.
  22. City are a jammy team, you can't say It's over, everyone said it was impossible for City to come back but they did regardless.
  23. Hopefully Reina stays at Liverpool, hope they keep the most overrated keeper in the premier league. He must cost Liverpool about 6 goals per season.
  24. Spoke way too soon, not to mention with 6 games left United where 8 points above city, and city still managed to win, so nothing is over.
