I don't know if it's possible for me to disagree more. Azpi's passing this season has been superb; a lot of our build up play is generated through him. Azpi is limited as an attacking RB, but as a RCB his understand of the position and passing ability has been a revelation.

Torres was unbelievably bad. A comedy show at the best of times and a car crash at his absolute worst. Having said that, Costa's all round game can be (and has been) just as bad at times.

I don't see it that way. Why not capitalise on your success early? He could lose form badly or suffer a serous injury at any point. He's only 18 but footballers have short careers. The kid is clearly talented enough and will only get better. And if things don't work out at a top club he will have 4/5 years of a great contract behind him (financial freedom early) and several decent clubs looking to sign him based on potential alone.

General all-round play and ability, Costa is just as bad (if not worse) than Torres and Sheva were at Chelsea. He is responsible for so many turnovers and moves breaking down that you wonder how much better we'd be if we had a competent footballer in his place.
