Excellent piece. You know that when even @chelseayouth is questioning the point of having an academy things are bad. The truth is we have a world-class academy with brilliant coaches doing great work with some seriously talented young players, but it's absolutely wasted on our club.

Jose trying to shake hands before the final whistle and getting blanked yet again https://vine.co/v/OTzvWDWB2Zx Take the hint, Jose, and shake hands at the end like everybody else. Stop embarrassing yourself, man.
-
To be fair, that's actually a legitimate excuse.
-
I wish it was something to brag about! It's the easiest test you will ever take in your life. C'mon bruh, you're slacking

Another average Brazilian to add to the collection It's just a shame that Chelsea's desire to sign Brazilians has coincided with the country's poorest generation in decades

Exactly my thoughts the theory is ridiculously easy ffs I passed it first time and got 100%
-
I remember watching one of those Academy shows on Chelsea TV a few years ago and Kane said he failed his driving theory test something like 7 or 8 times - honestly it could have been more, all I know is that he failed it several times   it's literally the first thought that pops into my head every time I hear his name

I honestly don't understand why some members get so offended and upset by the Mourinho criticism. There isn't a single manager of a club who isn't being criticised by a section of supporters right now. It's happening at every club in every sport. No manager is off limits. This is the same manager who routinely criticises Chelsea supporters and embarrasses them in the media and people are complaining about some forum posts. You couldn't make it up.

It's not so much a decline in ability but more that his methods have become dated. Football evolves; you either change with it or get left behind, and I feel that's happening with Mourinho to some extent. The Liverpool game was scandalous. No other top European team would go to Anfield and play as cowardly a game as we did - no other big team shows the same lack of ambition we did that night. And what's crazy is we have fans who think having 2 shots on goal is some sort of tactical masterclass. Tactically I've always thought he was a bit overrated to be honest; he does what many managers do but has had the advantage of having some of the best players in the world at his disposal.

It's not the end of the world, and this could ultimately be a blessing in disguise, but that doesn't make the result any less embarrassing. Tuesday is even more important now. Let's hope Mourinho can give us at least 25% of what the Bradford manager gave his team today.
-
It was the lack of noise wot done it today
-
Shit result if we lose but it won't be the end of the world. Bigger fish to fry than the FA Cup in my opinion.
-
It's Bradford....

Hazard hasn't signed a new contract so the club isn't exactly in a strong position. The fact he hasn't signed a new deal despite being offered one several months ago is a problem. And let's be honest; Real, Barca and Bayern would take Hazard without thinking twice.
-
Lowest point in his career or not (I'd say it that was his final season at Madrid by a huuuuuge distance) that doesn't excuse him being an absolute dickhead at times. Honestly, I think this whole things stems from the weird complex Mourinho has with Chelsea. I genuinely think he believes that he's the biggest and best thing to happen to this club and he behaves like it.
-
It's not even close. The guy in charge now is a completely different person in my opinion.
-
But the thing is you see, Liverpool do not have a billionaire owner so Mourinho won't be doing that.
-
It's not often you see a manager show such disdain for his own club's supporters. It's really bizarre to say the least. That is such an incredibly moronic statement that perpetuates the idea that the Chelsea support is shit. It's a fucking semi-final against one of our fiercest rivals; of course the fans are going to be up for it.
-
Seems like a marginal upgrade at best.
-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4CBNy3enoQ So much waffle it's unreal "We played in the top of our potential"
-
He has bad games quite often now in my opinion.
-
The good thing is it works against most of the rubbish in the Premier League so we should win the league. The bad thing is we have to suffer games like tonight. Now people will say tough away game, first leg, decent result etc etc but let's be serious, we made a very average Liverpool team look 10x better than they are.
-
It's two things: complacency because he knows he will almost always play and, ultimately, he just isn't that good. And because of those two reasons you end up with the situation we have now: a player who just keeps getting exposed.
-
Of course he will.
-
At some point you have to stop blaming the player but the guy who keeps picking him.
