well now that bos and iva are out injured , we are not only gonna have to live with ferrera as a RB but we are facing some serious problem because bruma is injured as well so if any one of alex , terry , ferrera get injured we are gonna have to lose our horsepower in midfield . i wished i wouldn't be proven right that quick that is what i was talking about you can't consider ivanovic as main cover for both RB and CB because when you lose him for any reason you lose your cover for both places

i can see why you are upset putting yourself in the manager's shoes . but what if you are the player ???? what if this is the move that is literally gonna change your life and if you are saying he is paid thousands then i think if he comes here he will get paid may be double what he gets . not only that but if i were him i will be living the dream saying " i will go to chelsea and train hard till cech is injured and i get my chance and i will prove that i am the best keeper in the world " but if he stays where he is and becomes 1st choice keeper , even gives out some great performances . well that will count for nothing . the only way i am gonna agree with you is if stoke has raised that player but if not then screw them. they paid a few thousands for him , now they are getting millions .

calm down !!! you can't force a player to stay with the club if he wants to leave . i think he has the rights to show his discontent and his desire to leave . i am sure it's not like he suddenly said i am not gonna play for you anymore , he must have spoken to the manager and explained his desire to leave and that was met by refusal . now he has a great chance infront of him to earn a lot more money and to go to the EPL champions , by other means live a much much better life . so i can see what he is doing .

well i think it's just me then , tbh i don't like terry and alex partnership as i have mentioned before also i see iva more as a RB or a CB back up but not a starting CB , that's why i think we need another defender . so it's not only about depth but also about quality i would accept to have great depth and good quality or great quality and good depth but good depth and quality will just give you good defence but not a great one.( does that make any sense ??) i know a lot of people will think i am crazy because i said that iva and alex are not two of the best CBs in the world. but i think we will do much much better with a younger version of carvahlo

so why don't we sell alex and iva to give our youngsters more chances as well !!!!!!!! also i don't know why people count ivanovic as two players one CB and one RB !!!!! he is only one player and can cover for only one place . we have sold carvahlo for god sake he played more than 23 games last season , while alex who is an injury prone was there as well as ivanovic . if this season goes like the last one where we were kinda lucky with defence injuries then we will have one of two options : 1- iva will partner terry and ferrera unfortunately will be our RB a lot this year ( not good) because i am sure as hell alex will be injured . 2- iva will play as RB and bruma will partner terry a lot this year ( not gonna happen as carlo likes to play iva as CB and bruma as RB (what the hell is that about !!!) anyway even if it does happen can you trust bruma to start over 15 matches this season like carvahlo last one ) alex is never fit longer than a month and a half so our only hope is that neither terry nor iva nor bos will have any long term injuries this year or we are screwed

i am giving a look for the future and within 3 years alex and terry will be very old 33 and 34 i think , luiz is only 23 and already have bags of experience . i know bruma is a very good prospect and i didn't say alex is not good i am just saying luiz will give us something we don't have the pacy , wise defender , carvahlo used to do that role.

let's say only two players are injured let's say alex as he is an injury prone and terry .... our defence most likely will be bosingwa ivanovic bruma a.cole if bos or iva or bruma get injured who will replace them ?? and that actually might be happening in UCL fixture also tbh i don't think terry and alex makes the best partnership , i know a lot of people will disagree but i think we should get david luiz , he is very expensive but he is so not overrated , he is actually a better version of pique or thiago silva and that is exactly what we need pacy , solid and well composed center back will be the best tp partner terry . it is not a must and it will cost us a lot but it will pay in the future because right now without terry our defence is average but with this guy even without terry we will have super defensive power.

i wouldn't say no to another CB to replace carvahlo . i guess we look kinda short of options there , we only have 4 CBs including Bruma so what if we had some bad luck with injuries like man utd last year when they had tp play fletcher and carrick as CBs.

i still think that it will be man city , they have the best overall squad and they can easily turn most of the big games into their side . i agree that they are not expected to be consistent enough and most probably will drop points in front of some shit teams but i think they will make some great results against the big 6 and that will make it up for them .

i think chelsea have already moved few steps forward towards that status . i mean few years back you would never find players like aguero , silva , ramires , neymar saying that they are honored just to be linked with chelsea or other like ribery saying we are one of the biggest clubs in the world . also some players like lukaku seems to be a great fan of chelsea and Drogba so as long as we keep on doing what we are doing we will win more , attract more great players and then young players will want to play for us and we are there as one of the greatest teams in the world . i would give it another 4 or 5 years .

i don't get what all this kalou fuss is all about , some people here are talking about kalou as if he is the worst footballer on earth while others seems to think that he is our messi . he is neither that nor that . kalou is a very good sub he has some good days and some bad days and that's it . although i don't rate him very highly because of his inconsistency but he is definitely not that bad of a player .
