McClaren was hillarious..Capello isnt exactly the 'saviour' everyone seemed to think he'd be but to be honest whatever manager we end up with I just think England will carry on being shit.Something doesnt click the way it does with other Countries and then theres always some lame excuse for that after 'the pitch..weather; yada yada'. And shit at penalties... Definatly dont think Lampard should play even more so for the reason he gets blamed when things go wrong..even if its down to a referee decison he seems to get stick for it. .Kinda good we've been forgotten about and written off,less pressure.Every other time we've been forgotten about we've crept up the table.Look at last season,written off in January then come April Man U begun looking over their shoulders are we were right behind them...I dont think we'll win the league mind but reckon give it a good push...Carling Cup and FA Cup be happy with...or even just the one long as we can progress in the other comps and show that we're not some team whose falling apart..as for some reason thats what we've been labled as pretty much. And the way we're doing it,mixing old with youth rather then doing an Arsenal and playing mostly youth for season after season and wondering why it aint working.Give them time to blend in cant always expect miracles.... Besides,Man U start their seasons shite and go on to win..never know ..see what happens just gotta for christ sake get behind the Manager and dont start slagging off soon as goes wrong cause we got rid of Carlo which is what people wanted...gotta be pleased at some point

Cup games can be dire as well Though in the past it has been loud in league games when we're a goal down.Like said Man City 4-2 loss..one of the best atmopsheres been to and yet the game was so shite and all..bizare lol

And Liverpool can be overated as well

Yeh defintatly gana try get to a couple of away games this season..and yeh it is different.On the day it may be loud but when coming through on telly its quiet just how it comes across.

Thats part of my reason as well...went to watch the Comm Shield in a pub in Greece and loved the atmosphere and after that started going for real..when it was cheaper lol.Only by a few quid maybe but still...its so hit and miss the atmosphere at times,sometimes amazing other times just dull. And Wembley is weird...FA Cup Semi against Villa and Comm Shield against Man U when we won,great atmopshere in the Chelsea end,lots of chants etc.But fucking hell the 2010 Comm Shield when some dude had a go at me for swearing after Rooney had scored...bloody cheek!! And going back to the Bridge for the following West Brom game was like 'yep this is how it should be!' Less of a libruary sitting in silence sorta thing

And then theres travel as well...and with first Captial connect idea of cheap prices it all adds up Think the whole 'Back to the Shed' campaign or whatever it was worked out pretty well when it was going and theres not tit at least with a drum who'd probably be strangled come the end of the game..

Only time found the East Stand decent was when we won the league 2009 and at a Carling Cup game but mainly due to being near the Matthew Harding end.Best place I've found is Shed near the away fans or middle at the back...the other side not so good Its bad when people try to get songs going and no one joins kinda ahhhhhh support ffs!!!

Been at the Bridge so many times in the past when it has been noisy and then watch the match at home and it sounds so quiet.Sound doesnt travel well in that place.And agree the ticket bump doesnt really help things espically when the team play likes shite.Though saying that some of the best atmopsheres and all have been when we've been a goal down.Man City 2 season ago...crap game and result but at the same time it was a good atmosphere weird as it sounds and was Sometimes it can be a great atmopshere..other times crap!Depends who your near etc and what mood the stewards are in.If they dont mind standing up espically for songs and crap or as soon as someone moves they get chucked out and moaned out.

Last season we started well and played shite..this season okay its two games in but both been hard to watch.We've started crap so hopfully it'll get better...and besides Man U seem to start their seasons shite and go on to win the league we got the points thats what matters...this week hopfully the rest can be delt with

Different Manager back then,they nearly held Man U last week.Never was gana be an easy game.Hodgson got it right there..not making excuses but wasnt going to be easier...just been nice had we not made it harder for us!!
