Yeah it didnt seem a case of 'ahh he'll be the next Fergie!We'll go far.Not much will change' sorta thing.Now they seem in panic and beginning to accept that far from it.He/they have had moments where they've looked like a pretty good side but seems to be a one off occasion rather then them on a good run.Yeah they gave Fergie time when he started but their fans are right in saying that was a whole different situation.. They kept Rooney which has been their saving grace so far....

Exactly he made them look/play decent but only so long that could last for.Even if he was here this season wouldnt think they'd been much better.A few less losses maybe but probably not running away at the top not with other teams in form this time

Fergie jumped ship at the right moment...they were poor last season.Van Persie kept they going really.That and every other team were worse

Jose's always taken cup competitions seriously so not surprising he fielded a strong team for it..which still took ages to get going...

Nah they lost to Leeds in this round a few seasons back.The rest just lol..hadnt lost to Newcastle in years...then they do among other things.Funny... Yeah same its annoying.Though they have been looking decent in a few games then go back to being crap.6 year contract woops!

Like said difficult away game.Strong side,on it from the start and make the most of chances cause the misses no doubt be costly...early kick off to woopee.Win and all happy.Loose/draw and a case of fingers crossed the other results go the same way

Thats the problem they've had in past season which has cost them.Getting points against the top sides and not the rest.This time however..all change really and see the massive difference..sadly...

Exactly its not like Derby are a non league side or anything like that.They made it hard as was expected.Nothing new we've had games like this in the past where we have had to bring on our best players to win it.No shock and we got a win..hurrah

Feeling less and less confident about this game...may only be Derby but it was only Brentford first time round anyway...Barnsley..Burnley and they didnt go easily..not a nobody side and seem to be getting more confident.Come on Chels wake up!

We do seem to play worse away against lower league sides in this completion.Maybe they just dont expect them to put up a fight and sit back or something who knows

Still to early to count Arsenal out of winning it.Sadly

Every game a cup final etc.Loose and could be screwed really.No easy simple wins really espically with teams fighting the drop.Players need to have the right attitude to not this we've won this game already before its even kicked off.Least we're still in with a shot Yeah be surprised if we beat City but on the road they've been dodgy.Us loosing to them could easily be made up with points dropped elsewhere etc...hopefully

Some could be quite tough fixtures in there.Same goes for every team really though.
