As good as they were feel they paved over the cracks. Now we're back to fighting for likely 4th again and potentially facing a Champions League play off and potentially come the end of the season if things dont improve back to the manager hunt.

Who knows anymore Man U more likely to win at Wolves. Liverpool at Leeds.. Ohhh we've not won home games in a row so could be okay!

They went from being whatever it was clear to fighting for the Championship title when they did win it. That should've rung alarm bells for the board but instead nope lets hire him!

And if we were to do that where does that leave us? Just floating around mid table for ever onwards as we sell off our best players to other teams who are capable of winning trophies. We used to be able to attract key players and decent players for the team we were and where we were heading. Now its more how much money we can offer them..if nowhere else comes along with a better offer. Whats also bit urghhh is since we last won the league closest we have come to the top is 15 points gap. Every other season been 19 and above...used to be a lot closer or seemed a lot closer. Times have changed

Wouldn't blame him. We're not building anything atm. I know they go on about a project but its been about 4 years or so now and nothing is changing or coming toegther. They'll sell him buy some more youth/young players who we'll never see!

Plus why would he leave the stability he has at Villa and what he has built to come to us? Be stupid to! They wont make the right choice.. it'll be some random person who gets fired after a year and we begin the hunt again and again and again.

I think the reason so much fuss was made about Liverpool's form because theyre not where most expected them to be. Whereas we are. When pundits did their predictions we were mostly 4/5/6th whereas Liverpool 1st/2nd. Who knows about Man U but considering both teams were 'omg crisis' and yet if we drop points and Liverpool win they can go above..all a bit silly really

Tbf start of the season when the pundits and that did their predictions we were 4th/5th so think we'll match what people predicted. We have got the squad to go all the way and instead top 4 is where we're at..until we sort out the obvious issues which doesnt seem to be happening season after season so here we are again
