  1. Bremen tickets for the home sector against Tottenham start from 116€ upwards...
  2. Hm... I've just joined like 2 weeks ago, but international members can only be good for a forum if they can speak/write English well enough.
  3. So Gerd Müller was a crap striker cause he had no technique? Or Miroslav Klose or Luca Toni or Filipo Inzaghi... I could go on like this forever. People expect Kalou to be a player like Drogba - but they have to accept he's the complete opposite. He's got no technique, twice the pace and probably same goal scoring abilites as a 25-year-old Drogba. Stop hatin' and stop comparing Kalou to other strikers that are the complete opposite of him. As I said, his job is not to dictate a game, to drop deep and collect balls, to create chances from the wing. But to get the ball, run at goal with his pace and finish it. He's a goal poacher, a penalty box striker. Something like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - remember when he was at his prime 2000 or 2001... he was 28 at that time. Kalou is 25 right now.
  4. Kalou is scoring goals, what do you want more from a striker? Most of you are just looking for a player to criticize. And to that second thing... hm you're totally wrong. Remember Drogba's shitty goals against West Brom... everybody was masturbating at them. I was the only one saying, they were "lucky"... and look what came out: killamanjaro: "...he was at the good place at the good time, just like a great striker..." Corlett: "How were they lucky." BlueLion: "...you have to congratulate Didier for working himself into the positions to take the chances in the first place..." So Kalou is shit and is just lucky to score those "easy tap-in goals", but when something similar happens to Drogba "we have to congratulate him for getting in to the positions, just like a great striker"? Sorry but this is ridiculous. Drogba is a fantastic striker and I admire him, but EVERY striker who scores goals - volleys from 30m or "easy tap-ins" - deserves praise for scoring that goal.
  5. Yeah I know in Germany it's like Dortmund have an 80'000 capacity during Bundesliga matches but "only" 65'000 during UEFA matches cause they transform the standing areas into seat areas. So the stadiums in England will stay as they are right know just with the restriction of standing being removed?
  6. He is a STRIKER, his job is to score goals and ironically neither Drogba nor Malouda, Lampard, Sturridge or anybody else could score - but Kalou. If Drogba scored that goal, everybody would've gone crazy.
  7. So how can one understand this, as introducing stands without seats in a stadium or just allowing standing in the normal stands despite having seats below you?
  8. Malouda obviously had a great month, but I'm going for Mikel... unbelievable work rate at the start of the season. Hats off.
  9. Exactly. He doesn't need to be the best player in the world right now, cause we have 3 superb strikers in Malouda, Drogba and Anelka. And almost nobody would replace them, so stop moaning about Kalou everybody and let him do his work - and that's coming on when the opponent's defenders are tired and creating some chances with his pace. He just turned 25, what are you all expecting... remember Drogba exploded with like 26 or 27 years. If we give Kalou some confidence and reliance, he may turn out to be a fantastic striker/winger in the next years.
  10. I'm pretty sure Cech will be captain ahead of Drogba.
  11. ^Completly right. We gotta wait, when some of our starters start getting tired, for example Anelka or Lamps, we gonna get the chance to see Sturridge, Kakuta and the others a bit more.
  12. I can see him stay at Real for two years and take over the Portuguese national team after the Euros for the World Cup.
  13. Kalou has always been a super squad player, fuck everybody who does not defend his own players.
  14. That was my second thought. Would love to see Kakuta at the tip of the diamond aswell... but this is probably too complicated as Alex said, simply Benayoun or Malouda into the midfield. That's gonna be it, yeah.
  15. I wonder why we do not rest Ashley for a second and bring on Yuri... for the good of everyone. Or even Malouda... Yuri is soo flexible, it's really a waste not to play him every now and then.
  16. We gotta switch to 4-4-2... Anelka Drogba Mikel Malouda Ramires Essien Cole Ivanovic Alex Ferreira Cech I hope this works... well it's Blackpool at home (what we should even win pretty much with our second team...) and West Ham away who are honestly in the worst shape they could possibly be. So it's nothing big.
  17. For me Man Of The Match also Malouda or Ashley Cole or even Drogba. All three very active, very agile, very passionate. Drogba has one hell of a form, plays stunningly beautiful yet effective football. Malouda up and running for another great season, too. Four goals in three matches already, he's learned how to score finally, maybe we can expect 20-25 goals from him this season. That would be fantastic as people were wondering where the goals should come from if not from Drogba or Lampsy. Happy for Ramires' debut, was very short though and Sturridge's part was short too but very impressive. Kalou should've scored once, but still he's probably our very best impact sub. Hope it's nothing serious with JT's injury. Many positives from this match, but we're not yet anywhere near 100% despite 3 wins from 3 matches with 14 goals scored and none conceded... wow.
  18. Hm, not too bad. He was playing shit anyway and needed a break, missing the national team can also be only good. Looking forward to a fit Lampard in top form against City.
  19. Good someone mentions that aswell, getting ever closer to a new Cech record.
  20. Good, I'm glad we don't do transfers just to say we did some transfers - you gotta make reasonable moves on the transfer market. Let's just hope our players do not get injured - especially Didier, Frankie, Big Pete und Essien. Actually also Anelka, Malouda and Ashley Cole... Damn we should've bought a couple of players and not have loaned out half our squad... but that's the way it is...
