True... gotta agree here. I just do not see the possibility of us paying 30m for him. Sorry, maybe I'm criticizing too much.
-
So? Nothing official we ever made an offer or we have ever approached the boy or the club.
-
haha thanks, I'm not far from the Netherlands though
-
Actually that's the opposite of how transfers work. The boy won't sign for us, cause we won't pay that much money for him.
-
Some people here are far too optimistic. This whole thing was made up by the media to raise attention for the boy to get him a wage increase or to make himself a name in Europe. There hasn't been one official statement from Bruce Buck or Gourlay or even Ancelotti. It was all made up from Santos. Don't you think they had already handed in a complaint to FIFA if we were still talking with him after they said they don't want to sell him? We haven't spoken with the boy.
-
I don't think so... there was some kinda point of no return when Capello gave the armband to Ferdinand.
-
This is getting epic.

Neymar's got a 28m buy-out clause. We didn't go that high so we've never triggered his clause. It's not Neymar's decision. Till we haven't triggered the clause it's up to Santos if they accept the deal or not, and they hadn't. And it's true. Till we haven't triggered the clause the player belongs to Santos and we're not allowed to talk to him. That's the rule, you don't want Real Madrid to come and talk with Kakuta just like that either, do you?
-
People seem to think only cause Neymar's a Brazilian he has the best technique worldwide. As some one mentioned a couple of minutes ago, if Sturridge was Brazilian he'd have a 30m price tag on his head by now...
-
Yeah mate, you're wrong. We haven't triggered the clause (yet). His clause is reported to be around 26m or 28m, we didn't go that high.
-
Thanks. Yeah, it's illegal over here.
-
Thank you very much. I didn't have the time and nerves to answer him once again. Finally there's someone sharing my opinion. +1

People should try and not go to the military, then let's see what happens. They got my respect for giving their lives for their country but I certainly do not admire them.
-
I get your point, but it's not something we have to change immediately. It's more like winning the CL and bringing through youth players. Stamford Bridge is gaining some kind of legendary status cause of the things that have happened here. I don't want to bring them all up but the Bridge's certainly not the point players refuse to come here.
-
I can't see Drogba staying out of this match. Lampard... okay, maybe Ramires will really get his chance from the start. Let's just wait and see
-
Finally someone, thank you very much.
-
Sorry but the difference is, Rooney played top sides like Arsenal or Newcastle week in week out when he was 17 years old at Everton - Neymar plays teams like Fluminense... no offense, but do you see what I mean?
-
I'm just saying there are SO MANY strikers playing in Europe... and we're going for Neymar? wtf... now seriously, Lukaku is twice as useful as Neymar and nowhere near 30m. I don't understand this.
-
Yeah he has crazy pace, but he's had like 4 years to prove himself now and he can't even get ahead of Anelka which is pretty sad cause Kalou's in the perfect age for a footballer right now. He runs straight into the next defender when he receives the ball... He's good for us in Carling Cup matches, but he's way to expensive for that. Just look at Barcelona or United and just imagine Kalou being there... I don't think he'd ever play a match there.
-
First and foremost, we have to be crowned Champions of Europe once in our history, that will do nicely for now. The rest will come with time - we need to show that relatively young players have a chance here, for example now with Sturridge and Ramires. We've shown that a couple of years back with Robben, Lamps and Duff etc but people seem to forget it...
-
First of all, I knew Neymar long before that USA match. That's not a reasonable argument. We paid 24m for Wright-Phillips and he was pure shit - plus he'd even played in England. Neymar hasn't. Why are you so sure he's not like all the other flopping "next Peles" and "next Maradonas"? So we pay the club's record fee for a 18-year old striker who's nowhere near the Prem concerning physique. Plus he has to adapt to the English league, which will take at least 2 or 3 years. You really think Neymar wants to stay here for more than 1 year before being a first team player? Well and last but not least... I don't think I need to mention the huuuge Brazilian flops in the Premier League? Robinho, Afonso Alves, ...
