  1. Oooops, I mixed month and week... I need to sleep more... Thanks for the correction. edit : I gotta find that on a poor source... It would be really weird if he is only on a £70k-per-week wage..
  2. Thanks for the editing. This kit is merely ugly. Our kits are getting more and more ugly. I usualy like adidas, but I'm getting bored of them, I would like something simple which ressembles to Chelsea for once, not those fantasy kits.
  3. Mixed feelings for me. He is a great player, he is still young and he is the kind of player we need. However, I'm concerned about his wage. I found that it was something about 330 000 € per month, which represents £290k per month I guess. hence I'd rather us to get someone lesser hyped. And by the way, ain't he be an injury-prone player ?
  4. McEachran+Sturridge+Bertrand+Rodwell - in other words 4 english players - in our team ? You're a big dreamer mate But I gotta admit, you have good dream and I like this one
  5. I heard he signed for Atletico back in March.
  6. I don't know. I didn't watch him enough... But anyway, I won't argue about his potential. The thing is that Pep has coached the best team in the world, won two UCL, he is coaching some of the best players in the world, and certainly some big egos. i mean, I believe it will be better if he gets two or three more years of experience before joining us... At least, one year of UCL. Not that I doubt of his abilities, just that I think it could only be better for both him and us.
  7. This. It would be a very good transfer and I will be happy if we get him. Hence I doubt it will happen lol.
  8. At some extend, me too. But that will depend who Roman plans to buy after Hiddink's spell as a coach here. If he plans to buy Pep Guardiola, then I'd rather Hiddink to do one season or two (depends on when he wants to leave Barca) and then leave the way to Pep. If RA plans to buy someone like Villas-Boas, then I'd agree with you. Hiddink to make 3-5 seasons here, while AVB gets experience at Porto.
  9. No mate, just no Though, we can try Valencia.
  10. What I like with the fact Hiddink as our manager, is that unlike Ancelotti and all, he will likely have full control over the transfert targets, in the choice of the kind of players we need and stuff. At least he will have a big role in those decisions. And we can hope Abramovich will interfere less than usual in football matters. Indeed, Roman seems to have a big respect for Guus, and he seems to hear him and have confidence in him. It could only be good for the smooth functioning of the team.
  11. You hit the nail on the head. We don't sign him because he would be perfect for us. We seem to prefere the players we don't need to the players we need, and we seem to miss each one of them (ie Silva).
  12. On topic : I don't think Hughes as assistant would be a good move. i don't believe coaches of his caliber are able to stay under the command of another coach.
  13. We are not Torres FC, we are Chelsea FC.
  14. ^ Yeah, me too ! When I did saw the topic, I was like "yeah, we're linked with him, it might be a good omen !" XD
  15. But you will notice that for once, we don't want a Right back
  16. I bet he is still better than all our midfielders
  17. Lol, I heard the contrary.. I thought he was a left winger ! edit : Just watched some vid of him, he seems to play on the left.
  18. Do they play at the same position ?
  19. Yup. And most important point, we don't know what Roman has in mind. So yeah, pure speculation.
  20. Not necessarily. If back then Roman was looking for a manager who could win the Champions League the sooner possible with the current squad, then Hiddink has made the right choice, a priori. And if in may Roman was looking for a manager with certain abilities which Ancelotti didn't have, then Hiddink was right to advise him to sack Carlo. Nah mean lol ?
  21. That would be awesome. Roman in jogging on the touch-line
  22. Yeah, he did that when he switched position with whoever played on the right. But I mean, from the start. I'm agreed that he isn't good. But retrospectively, did Kalou and Anelka were good enough too ? And also, when we played in 4-2-2, were Essien/Kalou/Ramires good enough ?
