Maybe we wait that Liverpool buys Carrol, then we can put some pressure on them "You've just spend £35 million, it's a huge sum, so £40 million is enough" (I don't think so) LOL.
Udinese's chairman ask 30 million for Sanchez, so if we have good negociators I guess we can get him for 25 million. Neymar has a buy out clause at €45 million - more or less £38 million - but he won't leave for this price (it's the same case that Ganso)...
Maybe we could use a lineup : Mikel Ramires ----------- Lampard Malouda Drogba - Torres On the paper it would be similar to a 4-4-2 diamond, but Ramires and Lampard wouldn't be used like winger but like they are used right now, ie our midfield won't change. And Malouda would be this 'winger playmaker'... ?
I still hope Anelka will be a part of the deal... Now I can imagine he's gonna sulk all day everyday... And he's gonna play even worst than now... Though with Torres arrival maybe he will be benched lol (right Carlo ?)
This. £50 million for a player is just insane. Even more when it's for an injury prone and underperforming player. Roman should invest this money on other players, for instance Luiz + Sanchez/Neymar/Lukaku. Plus I can't bear to give to Liverpool as much money as that...
He gonna tell em 'I'm playing for the greatest english team' and everything will be forgiven. £50 million is way too much imo, it would be just crazy to give them this amount of money. £40 million + Anelka is still a too big offer... £35 million + Anelka why not... Though I'd prefer to spend this money on other players to be honest...
But as far as we don't have signed Torres (which I think won't happen) , we shouldn't loan him. Otherwise he will have just one sub (Kalou) to replace our whole forward line... Even if he won't play, we must keep him, to make the number. 'Cause imagine, for instance, if Drogba and Anelka are both injured we would have to play Sala...
