  1. We all know there are going to be exits over the summer, and i fully expect Avram Grant to rebuild the squad and turn it from Jose Mourinho's team into his own team... I think SWP, Belletti, Sidwell, Ben-Haim, Shevchenko, Pizarro, Drogba and Malouda could all be on their way out in the coming months, obviously not all of those players will leave, but for the majority of this season 7 of the 8 players mentioned have struggled to get a regular game under Grant and for players of their talent they're wasted sitting in the stands listening to their iPods every week. Players like Carvalho are the ones we should be striving to keep
  2. Nah, i've been to watch Middlesbrough a couple of times this season with a mate from University and he's impressed me every time i've seen him... like i said he gets a lot of stick but he scores, and creates goals and he's far better than Malouda
  3. I think a left sided midfielder is a must... he gets a lot of stick but personally i'd love to see Stewart Downing at the Bridge.. he's a quality little player
  4. I think the fact that past players and management are on it was a contributing factor to it being taken down
  5. Ten Coats might have the power to persuade him, but unless Drogba goes we don't need him unless we sell Shevchenko and/or Pizarro instead
  6. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_3116396,00.html Torres says he's fit
  7. I remember when Dmitri Kharine first signed for us, he used to send food parcels and money back to his family in Russia because they were too poor, i haven't read the article but i imagine there's a good reason Essien has ignored helping his so called father
  8. Arsenal are still to have their "blip" this season and i think ManUre are more than capable of dropping points at times... at the moment i can't look past Arsenal winning the Premiership but i can't and won't rule us out of the race until its mathematically impossible for us, it's not over until its over, just look at Real Madrid last season
  9. A player like Van der Vaart or Luka Modric would be a better option than Gerrard for me, and probably cheaper options too... leave Gerrard swimming in all the history past players have made at Liverpool, whilst our players build their own at the Bridge
  10. Drogba has the fact that the African Awards Panel chose him as the player of the year, he doesn't need the award and the official title to know he's the best in my opinion
  11. would this be Liverpool targeting the same Joe " i want to stay at Chelsea for life " Cole that i'm thinking of?!? they can bollocks!!
  12. I think England shirts should have at least some signifigance to the George Cross on them, i'm not sure about this one at the moment though
  13. Good luck to the kid in all honesty, i don't expect him to play at all this season if i'm honest but if he gets a game it most likely will be against Huddersfield in the FA Cup, from what i've read and heard about this kid though he's probably more similar to Pizarro than he is any of our other strikers
  14. I imagine it will be, we can't let the scousers take our home record away from us, that would be unthinkable
  15. Mini-Maka was absolutely outstanding throughout, if only he'd produced performances like that in a Chelsea shirt more often then we'd never have sold him, if it wasn't for him i reckon we'd have won comfortably
  16. I think thats the quality of the Premiership, anyone can beat anyone on their day
  17. I'm not sure how the midfield will be changed around by Avram to be honest, Maka, Ballack, Coley and Wrighty have all been excellent, i think if anyone is to be dropped it should be Malouda
  18. I think we can, and will, effectively end Liverpool's title ambitions this season, last time we were lucky to escape with a draw after some shocking refereeing, but i think if we can get at Liverpool from out wide and put pressure on their full-backs we'll have a lot of joy against them, good news that Riccy will be back for this one and i'm confident he can keep Torres quiet with a little rough and tough from Alex. Hopefully Lampsy will be able to play some part in this one and Anelka has a nack for scoring past his former clubs so all in all it won't neccessarily be the easiest game but i'm confident we'll come away with three points
  19. I think i'd rather have Mikel back than Essien at the moment, i think he's been more important for us this season, and in my opinion Essien hasn't been at his best many times during this campaign for us
  20. the man has been like a brand new-signing this season and he's looked like the real Michael Ballack, the jury is still out for me over whether him and Lampsy can play together in the same side
  21. alright guys and girls? i've only just got round to re-registering again as i've been busy the last few months with university work and exams how you all doing, see you around Byatt x
