Someone on Revista de la Liga (program on Sky Sports about Spanish football) was saying how training at the big clubs in Spain isnt taken as seriously, and the 'big stars' such as Ronaldinho basically train when they want and how they want. The Sheva situation was different though, he was one of the best strikers around at that time, and also Romans buddy. Ronaldinho isn't what he was a few years ago, and isnt worth anywhere near £30M in my opinion.

Sorry but thats hilarious. How many times have you seen the chap play? I think people are getting abit carried away with Kakuta. Yes he looks a prospect, but so did Carlton Cole and Mikael Forrsell amongst others. He did well in the youth cup, yes, but one or two of the games he was non-existent to be honest. Lets give it 2-3 years to see if hes still impressing before we say hes going to be world class. As for Messi, as Jim said great player, but cant see Barcelona letting him go. Dont think there short of money, and they're obviously are determined to get back to the level they were 2-3 years ago - something they wont do if they sell Messi. Kaka is more realistic, and for £35-£40M, he'd be great. Can sense at least one top world class player coming in, and Kaka seems most likely.

Firstly the expected that we will wear the shirt against Bolton on May 11th, and the confirmation that it is only for one season. I think alot of people will be unhappy with that, especially parents as its going to mean 3 new kits (+ GK kits) every year unless they keep away/third kits for longer. They say many clubs already do this, but I cant think of any that are to be honest. Heard this earlier and was quite surprised. Still dont expect him to play on Wednesday but fair play to Frank if he feels hes ready to return. Yup I agree. Thought we bossed the midfield for the first time in ages. Essien was superb from box-to-box, and Mikel looked like the huge prospect we know he is.

Apart from being an incredible player Manpe? Yes he goes down to easily, but so do Drogba, Ballack, Sheva etc. Thats football. Best player in the world at the moment. We played him superbly today though.

Dont understand why he'd leave our bench to go and sit on the bench behind Buffon. If he was going to go, he would have gone 2-3 years ago whilst he still had significant time to play for 3-4 years. Dont see him leaving to be honest. I watched the interview that Chelsea TV did with him after he got his 200th appearance and his love for the club was still evident, and I think he made it clear he'd like to stay here. Oh, and by the way, he returned to proper training yesterday.

We wouldn't play the final in this BL. You can only wear one set of shirts per season in the CL, but the PL allows you to wear the new kits for the final day. Different competitions vary, for example, the French League has the same rules as the CL, and they arent allowed to wear a new kit early.

Imagine that keepers kit with the current away shirt. Eww. I think your right about it not being as nice as the current home shirt, but I think that would take some beating to be honest. Not great, but not a disaster, 6/10.
