  1. According the the London Standard newspaper, Franks mum passed away last night. R.I.P, condolences to the family.
  2. Summed it up well there mate. Huge opportunity and everything seemingly is in our favour. Got that goal, and now got them at home. Still alot to do, but i'd say the majority of CFC fans are confident. Was offered £400 per ticket last week, guess that will go up again during the week. How much would you pay to go?
  3. Welcome to the site mate. Thoughts on Ivanovic and Rajkovic?
  4. Chelsea host Manchester United in a crucial table-topping battle at Stamford Bridge. Three points for the West London side would see them level with Sir Alex Ferguson's side on 81 points with two games remaining, a position that many Chelsea fans would not have even dared dreaming of following José Mourinho's shock departure in September. Chelsea's home record against the Red Devils is excellent, and Chelsea’s 80-game unbeaten run at Stamford Bridge in the league is testament to that fact. A victory over their great northern rivals would see the Blues right on course for a European and domestic double, following Wednesday’s excellent 1-1 draw at Anfield. This is the third meeting between the top two this season, and the second in the Premier League. Chelsea were beaten 2-0 at Old Trafford in Avram Grant’s first game in charge of the club, and were also defeated 3-0 on penalties after a 1-1 stalemate in the Community Shield, but goalkeeper Petr Cech has spoken about his team’s chances in confident mood. “We have got a pretty good record at Stamford Bridge, so we hope to keep that going,” said the Czech international, who also hopes to meet United in the final of the Champions League. However, the mood around the camp is not totally upbeat following the death of Pat Lampard. Frank Lampard looks set to miss the United clash, though Michael Ballack is set to start after missing out against Everton. Can the Blues pull off the performance of the season to beat United? Match chat here! Come on the Chels. Preview written by BlueLion
  5. Still in shock over THAT goal. Doesnt mean anything if we cant finish it off at the Bridge. Come on you Chels.
  6. Malouda was better than the five mate.
  7. Speechless guys. Bring on Wednesday. KTBFFH
  8. Cant believe some of the optimism on this board today. The majority of people expecting us to win or get a score draw. That away goal would be crucial and fingers crossed we get it. I'd take 0-0 now. C'mon Chels.
  9. Neil Barnett has just said on CTV that Drogba will play, and Ballack should play. Both fully training this evening at Anfield. He also said that Ballack WONT play every game from now on, but should tomorrow. Great news.
  10. They dont look to bad there actually. I wasnt sure on either of them before, but actually look ok here. Still think they look abit plain without the 'mobile'.
  11. Papers reporting tomorrow that Lamps, Ballack and Drogba all trained today, and should all travel to Liverpool tomorrow afternoon with the squad.
  12. I disagree Alex, I can see quite a few leaving. Sidwell, Ben-Haim and Pizarro are 95% certain to leave I'd expect. Malouda and Shevchenko I think will also go, as unfortunately it hasnt worked for them here. Drogba also I think will go, no matter what we achieve this season. Thats 6 players out that would need replacing and there are doubts about Belletti, Carlo and Frank too. CJ, I dont see Paulo going, as hes improved alot recently and signed a new contract in February. Daniel Alves, Rafael van der Vaart, Klaas Jan Huntelaar in please.
  13. Gerrard will play. Dont believe all that from Rafa. Jose wouldn't, Grant might.
  14. Haha, your right - This is a long shot. But btw, you cant have mine
  15. According to Giancarlo Gallavotti (sp?) on Chelsea TV a few weeks back, Lippi will replace Donadoni after Euro 2008 and manage Italy again.
  16. Heskey goal. NOT a header. http://www.zshare.net/video/1083505821fd6e7f/
  17. I think Frank will play. Ballack 50/50. If its Maka/Mikel/SWP, i'd match Liverpool and play 4-2-3-1 with Joe Cole playing like Gerrard, SWP and Kalou out wide.
  18. Perhaps you should take another look at Wigans equaliser mate and re-write the final paragraph.
