  1. Because Anelka is injured, and Carlo thinks Kalou can do well in his absence.
  2. Kalou nearly! Knocking on the door!
  3. A lil laggy, but does the job http://entertainmenow.net/channel1.php
  4. Pato puts Milan 1-0 up against Palermo, 20 mins gone.

  6. No, that was against Wolves Got any links mate? ESPN being the bitches that they are, are having a wank over City-United.
  7. Just 6 on the bench? Hope nothing's too bad with Alex or Anelka seeing they aren't even among the subs.
  8. In Soviet Russia, contract renews you
  9. If I remember correctly, didn't he score the winner away at West Ham and Sunderland the season before last? That's just off the top of my head. Also, don't tell me you didn't have your heart in your mouth till he scored that crucial second against Wolves a couple of weeks back. Did you see the assist for the opener against Spartak last week? Kalou provided the ball that Nico smashed in from an angle. Sure he's incredibly frustrating at times and I was one of his biggest doubters, but you've got to give him credit where it's due.
  10. The new national team coach of Nigeria has certainly wasted little time in causing waves, blasting Chelsea for destroying John Obi Mikel's game. Samson Siasia complained that, since moving to the English top flight, Mikel's natural attacking instincts have been stamped out of his game entirely.'The system in Chelsea actually destroyed Mikel's game,' said Siasia. 'Mikel is an offensive player, but when he moved to Chelsea, they changed him because they had a better player offensive wise like Frank Lampard who can score goals.' He went on: 'I don't think he is playing in his natural position because we all saw what Mikel played in 2005 and everybody loved him for what he did, he can keep the ball and create chances for the strikers to score goals.' 'That was why Chelsea actually gave him a contract, but getting there they had two top players, Lampard and Michael Ballack. Lampard scores goals and so what (Jose) Mourinho did was to bring Mikel back because how many goals has Mikel scored? He brought him back so that Lampard and Ballack played offensive.' And Siasia's advice for the 23-year-old was clear: quit Chelsea now.'He has to start playing more offensive to become the Mikel we knew,' he added. 'But if it would be difficult to change the way he is playing, he has to move to another club. Source : Vital Chelsea
  11. Chelsea have put Bayern Munich on alert over their interest in centre back Vinicius Borges Breno. The English champions are understood by the Daily Mail to be monitoring the 21-year-old Brazilian as he makes his comeback from a cruciate ligament injury. Chelsea scouts reportedly made inquiries about the former Brazil Under 23 captain last season prior to his injury in March. He has only made 13 appearances for Bayern since joining from Sao Paulo for £11million, but is still held in high regard by the coaching staff at the club. Meanwhile, Germany captain Michael Ballack may have annoyed his former colleagues at the London club by claiming that Bayern star Bastian Schweinsteiger would "fit in well" at Manchester United or Real Madrid - and not Chelsea. Schweinsteiger's contract with Bayern runs until 2012, but talks over an extension have stalled recently which has led to interest for the player from a number of Europe's top clubs. 12. Hmm. Most likely to see this : Cech (confirmed) Cole Ivan JT Ash Mikel (confirmed) Essien (confirmed) Zhirkov Kalou (confirmed) Drogba (confirmed) Malouda (confimed) Hopefully it wouldn't be difficult to put this one to bed by the hour. Then Gael, Josh and Studge could get some time. Would have liked Stu/Gael to start but meh.
  13. I've had malaria when I was 10 so I know how much it sucks. Just shows how strong he is mentally and physically to be able to recover from it this quick.
  14. Mixed feelings for me. It's logical that moving stadiums is needed to secure the financial competitiveness of the club and everyone would welcome it keeping that in mind. But being someone who's never gone to the Bridge before and has always dreamed of doing so, I'd be very sad if we were to move.
  15. Probably Eto'o to win it. DD had his best season last year but he's slowed down a bit since the WC while it's the opposite for Eto'o and recent form is what people are more likely to remember when they vote.
  16. Maybe Jose can do us a favour a la Quaresma and let him come on loan
  17. Agree about Carlo not being effective with subs, that's one very valid criticism of him. Don't agree about the CL thingy though. With a certain amount of luck, we can go far. Sorry if I was harsh earlier, emotions still running high.
  18. Criticising the team is one thing, to say we're not gonna win the CL based on one poor performance and to ridicule last year's double as being 'the best among a very poor bunch of teams' is crap. And yes, do stfu with your nonsense negative crap. If you can't say something positive, shut your trap and fuck off.
  19. He certainly couldn't have done any worse than Ramires out there. I know Ramires is new, but perhaps he shouldn't be starting big away games like today's.
  20. Anelka and Ramires have no business starting for this one. Pathetic performance today. Starts for Studge and Josh please, thank you.
