  1. CHELSEA skipper John Terry was shocked last night after his dad was battered by Spurs yobs. Ted Terry, 56, suffered a serious head wound when the hooligans attacked him at a train station. One thug - with a blue and white Tottenham Hotspur scarf wrapped round his hand - shoved Ted's head into a metal post. The convicted cocaine dealer was left barely conscious and had to be rushed to hospital. England ace John, 29, is said to be "stunned and upset" by the attack. One family friend said last night: "Ted suffered a nasty wound to the back of his head that required a lot of stitches. He is upset he was attacked by so-called football fans purely because his son plays for a rival team. "John is also very shocked about what has happened." Ted - now recovering at home in Chafford Hundred, Essex - was targeted at Upminster station last Saturday by Spurs fans returning from their team's 4-2 defeat at Bolton. They are thought to have recognised the jobless forklift driver because of publicity over his suspended sentence earlier this year for supplying cocaine. Cops investigating the attack are being hampered because Ted has refused to give them a statement. British Transport Police confirmed: "We are investigating the assault of a 56-year-old man at Upminster station at 10pm last Saturday." Source : The Sun
  2. Can't wait for the highlights! Now that they've got a closer look at him, guess Bayern will step in as soon as January comes around. Sort out his contract, CFC!
  3. Suspect the popular choice would be Zola/Clarke. Don't know where Maldini's name has cropped up from tbh.
  4. Not only is this a footballing disaster for us, it's also a PR disaster. Expect headlines along the lines of 'Trouble at Chelsea'
  5. He's been charged by the FA based on a video review. Good decision, but where's the consistency? When Ben Arfa's leg was broken, no foul was called against De Jong. Barton wasn't booked for this either, so why the review? Cattermole clearly handled the ball on the line to prevent a goal against Stoke. No foul, no penalty, no review.
  6. This is so sudden. How does a contrct run out in the middle of a season? Such a shame this, Butch is Chelsea through and through. Thanks for everything, Butch, wish you all the best in everything you do.
  7. Gimme a break. Think Jose, Grant, Scolari, Hiddink and Carlo know more than you about Mikel and are the best judges of where to play him.
  8. Decent footballer but what a cunt of a human being
  9. He'll miss the next 3 games because it's a straight red card. If we appeal but it's not heard before the next game, he can play in it but if the appeal is found to be frivolous, he can be suspended for additional matches.
  10. I believe in God, yes. A practising Hindu (at most times )
  11. Surely we'll appeal? Ah fuck it, worry about it tomorrow. 3.30 AM here, bloody sleepy. Night guys.
  12. 1-0 FT. Thank fuck for that. Could and should have been much more. Hope it remains tied at City.
  13. Essien's shooting has been pathetic.
  14. That's got to make the Nigeria manager happy

  16. Sometimes, with Kalou, you dunno whether to laugh or cry ...
  17. Found a better stream, if anybody needs it - http://maxsportz4.blogspot.com/2010/08/channel-2.html
  18. Well not explicitly, but he hasn't picked Stu so he makes it obvious through his actions. He's out there but understandably doesn't look a 100 pc. Hopefully if we score early enough maybe he can be rested for say half an hour or so and Stu gets a chance.
  19. Hopefully we take our chances in the second half so Drogba can get a rest
