  1. Those are pretty strong words from Anelka, to say the least.
  2. No wonder I hate agents. What a cack, leave the management to Carlo, you dickhead!
  3. Nah mate, not angry lol, got better things to occupy me. Just intrigued with the blatant Barca bias. I mean sure Xavi is a great player, but Ronaldo should be second, shouldn't he? And is scoring the world cup winner by itself solely enough to get the Ballon d'Or?
  4. They might as well just come out and say that Barca are their adopted sons and the award will stay in the family. Ffs atleast make it more subtle.
  5. Your media there is just like our media in India. We build up ourselves way too much, and then when it doesn't go our way, it's boo-hoo time. Time to get over it, surely?
  6. Cesar Maicon, Lucio, Pique, Cole Xavi Sneijder, Fabregas Iniesta Messi, Ronaldo Drogba Coach - Jose.
  7. Found a fault with your report mate - you didn't ask for Lampard's injury news
  8. All i know is, I'm tired of the same old same old when it's obvious it isn't working. Okay, maybe Drog should start because of the fear he can strike among CBs when it's his day, but Anelka? Pfft. Sturridge for me.
  9. Like I said, we're not gaining anything by doing the same things over and over again. You say we need players who can score goals, how many goals have Drogba and Anelka scored in the last 5 games? I would love to see Flo - Sturridge - Kalou upfront with Kakuta - Mikel - Essien in midfield. Ofc we can bring on Drogba and Anelka if things don't work out.
  10. Newcastle United have sensationally sacked manager Chris Hughton, just over a year after he was first appointed the club's manager on a permanent basis. Hughton guided the club back to the Premier League at the first time of asking last season, but his position came under scrutiny after the club opted to put talks on a new deal on the back burner. Shortly afterwards, Hughton led the Magpies to a stunning win over north-east rivals Sunderland - a victory that appeared to strengthen his hand. A statement on Newcastle's official website said: "Newcastle United Football Club have today parted company with manager Chris Hughton. Goalkeeping coach Paul Barron also leaves the club today. "The board would like to place on record their thanks to Chris for his considerable efforts during the club's transition from Championship to Premier League football. Chris has shown exceptional character and commitment since being appointed manager in October 2009. The club wishes him well for the future. "Regrettably the board now feels that an individual with more managerial experience is needed to take the club forward. The task of appointing a new manager now begins. An announcement will be made shortly regarding transitional arrangements pending the appointment of a successor." Martin O'Neill has emerged as an early favourite to replace Hughton, while Norwich boss Paul Lambert, former West Ham manager Alan Pardew and Slaven Bilic are also being tipped to be contenders. Soccernet Am I the only one baffled?
  11. There was no issue, just a lover's tiff. Hands off my man Henrique
  12. Why assume I'm serious, Styles? I 'LOL'ed at the start of the previous post, remember? And anyway, I love Henrique
  13. Something's got to give. Me, I'd rather put one or both of Sturridge and Kakuta on from the start, and bring on Anelka and Drogba if it doesn't work out. Carlo's got to try something new, but something tells me he won't
  14. LOL. Once again, you fail to answer the question put forth to you. If calling my simple question 'tedious' makes you happy, good for you
  15. Styles doesn't say anything when Henrique goes around calling people idiots. Or when others are insulted. Playing favourites?
  16. All these awards are a farce. Well, in most cases anyway.
  17. Whatever. Incompetent suits masquerade as officials all over the world.
  18. Why? - People clogging my Facebook feed with a gazillion photos of themselves at lame parties. - The same people tagging other such people in those photos.
  19. Yeah I guess he's got a remote chance. But I'd be extremely surprised if he did. Apart from the decent WC, he didn't really set the Ligue Un on fire. Gyan in 09-10 : 13 Ligue Un goals, 3 assists Drogba in 09-10 : 37 goals in all competitions, 11 assists, Golden Boot in EPL, English Double winner Eto'o in 09-10 : 18 goals in all competitions, 7 assists, Treble winner Easy to see why Drog or Eto'o should get it, but hey, it's FIFA, anything can happen.
