To say he's anti-semetic is harsh, perhaps what he "backed" was not the anti-semetic comments, TX is smarter and more humane than that. & I can't speak for TX but I really doubt he despises him because he's Jewish, it's probably because he doesn't feel Benayoun's up to the football ability Chelsea should look for.

I'm glad Lampard's getting the extra rest, he doesn't really need to play vs Zilina.. We've got enough cover. Still concerned about Bosingwa's lack of involvement. There are times TX derailed a post, BUT, he's not the only one. Not naming any user here, but there are certain posters who looked only to have an argument with TX and thus THEY derailed a whole topic. Anyhow like BL said, Jim's forum so Jim's decision. I would like to see TX back though, he's a good poster and does contribute a lot to TalkChelsea

Drogba issue won't be a problem, we coped last season, at least this is a reduced ban though.. Kalou.........Anelka.........Malouda Looks about right. Only issues are Terry/Lampard fitness. I can see Lampard and Terry missing this one out, Alex & Ramires can fill in. A.Cole for captain role

I missed the first half so I don't know how he did in that, but I'd imagine he used it to "feel" his way into the game. He impressed me in the second half, lived up to his reputation as a "box-to-box" midfielder. I saw him forward to support the strikers and then run back to help the defence. He paired up great with Mikel because the 2 were very wary of each others positions and almost "covered" for one-another when the other went forward. I see only good things to come from Ramires, if he and Mikel combine like Ramires does with Gilberto Silva for Brazil then we'll see even more beautiful football from Chelsea

I'd have liked to see Ashley Cole take it. But fair do's to him saying it should go to Drogba instead!
