  1. True! And it's a Champions League night, which is always special!
  2. Hmm. Chelsea v. Valencia or Chelsea v. Liverpool (CC). Which one to go to?
  3. He proved us all wrong when we thought he was finished for this season, hats off to him for that. #takeahintdrogba.
  4. Nono, I know Tomo - Just generally. Because labels go around too easily on this forum.
  5. We hold the right to criticise. Whether that translates to slating or not, I couldn't care less. No-one doubts his abilities as manager though, good post, but still maintain the principle.
  6. Meh.. He might as well not appeal, and drag this out.
  7. Good thing about Cahill's age, if we signed him, is that by the time he'd step down Chalobah would be ready to step up.
  8. Exactly, trust Crapello to cock up his "youth" emphasised team. Our midfield is one of the worst in the world (out of respect to Lampard). How do we compare Milner - Barry - Parker - Lampard to Xavi - Alonso - Iniesta - Fabregas? It amazes me that FIFA or whoever still rank England the 5th best team in the world. We have no pure talent in this squad. No-one that will penetrate a defence or anything. Only Rooney strikes fear into an opponent & look what's happened with him! Once again he must carry this nation on his back. When Beckham was dropped from this squad, I thought it marked a new age. As much as I loved Becks, it was a step in the right direction. But nothing changed! The goal keeper did. The formation hardly has. Crapello knows nothing of the English style of football. I'd rather we had Sven back
  9. This won't happen to us, Buck said he'd preserve the Stamford Bridge name, whatever happens. Then again, they do like to break promises. On to Newcastle. Well, my NUFC supporting fan is outraged. "I don't like using this term, but Sir Bobby Robson would be spinning in his grave". It's a shocking move by the Newcastle board, the remove the history & prestige of that ground without a second thought. The worst part is, they haven't even found a real sponsor so at the moment it's free advertising for Sports Direct, which Ashley owns. Despite what 'market experts' told Newcastle United's board, other experts warn sponsors might be put off because of the fan backlash. The Newcastle council are refusing to rename street signs from "Towards St. James' Park" to "Towards Sports Direct Arena". This epitomises the business aspect of football now, wiping out traditions & co. You go to London and ask someone top landmarks to visit if they were a football fan & Stamford Bridge may be there in the top 20. You got to Newcastle, St. James' Park is in the top 3. Classless act by Newcastle. They can only hope someone buys out Ashley and brings back the traditions of that club.
  10. Every youth/reserve game I see him play, he's been very effective. I see genuine pace in him, with a goal scoring instinct too. I think he's right sided too, so him and De Bruyne can be very effective if we'd take a gamble in a season or so.
  11. England u19's win tonight by that single goal. Chalobah's 45th England game tonight, at the age of 16!
  12. Aziz Deen-Conteh's just come on too! 4 Chelsea representatives make up the u19 XI at the moment :cfc:
  13. Good Chelsea representation going on tonight. Currently Josh McEachran's playing for the England u21's against Iceland in a Euro'13 game. They're currently 1-0 up. Jamal Blackman, Nathaniel Chalobah & Todd Kane are playing for the England u19's against Denmark in a friendly at the moment. Chalboah's been there the whole game whilst Blackman & Kane just came on in the 2nd half. Currently 0-0 there. David Luiz played 90minutes in a Brazil friendly today too. They won 2-0.
  14. That was a friendly though, before he wasn't allowed to play competitive games. Now he can.
  15. Well played Nike & Walcott. Let Fifa try something now..
  16. Ahh, that's reassuring then. He allowed to play reserve football or anything like that?
  17. LMAO indeed. Thankfully Buck said the name "Stamford Bridge" will be maintained, even when a sponsor acquires naming rights.
  18. Didn't even need to look it up to know this was a Hans Zimmer classic soundtrack. An unbelievable composer that made this speech what it is. Excellent acting from old CC too. Masterpiece in its entirety. Edit: Just realised it was the Inception track added onto the speech - Brilliant work by the creator & visionary of this.
  19. It's not very reassuring. Such a terrible deal, leaves us on edge every summer window now.
  20. What? But I thought we had to wait till he turns 18?
  21. Indeed, it's quite a disappointing response to be honest. I thought CPO's offer for a SNCPO director on the board would've been a positive move all-round.
  22. Jones hails Terry Not sure Rio will appreciate that, but good on the kid.
