I kind of understood why André dropped him though. Remember it's after he got suspended that it started. Drogba then had a good run of form, and that was a month we needed results meaning not changing a winning formula. Okay not necessarily 'winning' formula, but you know what I mean. I also agree that if the same trust is shown in him, that there was in the beginning of the season, with a quality set of midfield players he will flourish. This month we'll only have Lukaku & Torres upfront as Drogba & Kalou leave for ACoN tomorrow. He won't use Sturridge in the middle, we know this now, so the odds would favour Torres over Lukaku. Though if the latter shines, I'd have no problem in that.

If Frank does leave for United, I might stop watching football. It would be more heartbreaking than Roman leaving.

I call for a ban for posting obscene material

One could argue, so did Obama.

Reports say QPR have bid £5m for Samba.

The thing is, she did not mean it in a racist context.. Remember you only get 140characters on twitter to make points. Her original point, once explained, makes sense and there would be nothing wrong about it. She's simply describing what happened in 19th century colonialism. Of course she has to realise how it's been perceived and she's perhaps guilty of not following up with an explanation with another tweet. Diane Abbott is quite an inspirational lady within her own right, for this reason I don't believe she should be forced to step down. She was the first black woman to be voted into parliament, so she's no stranger to racism and oppression. She's apologised and explained what she meant, she's understood why it's been scrutinized and she's makes no excuses for that.

LMAO. What a typical Liverpool fee to pay..

Yes, she worded it in a very silly way. She should've thought carefully about how her words would've been seen, and especially if the tables had been turned and a white politician had put such hostility into it.

To be honest, the Black Police Officer's Association makes sense because of the historical suffering in society and even in the force itself. As the case of Stephen Lawerence has demonstrated. However I completely understand your frustrations at how if white police officers did the same you get threatened in such away, it's not like these groups are hate groups. It's a very sensitive matter, again because of the historical prejudice of darker-skinned societies. And the political correctness that must be adhered to today is a direct consequence of that past suffering. Abbot is actually a very smart lady, she's stood up to racism, prejudice & suffering her entire life and when she became an MP it was a good sign of the decline in racism. However she has severely disrupted her name with this tweet. If she had worded it correctly, because she was right about the 19th century colonialism, then it would've been fine. Her context is not racist, but she's portrayed it that way. This is her own fault.

Tottenham, Inter Milan, Fenerbahce & Chelsea chase Krasić

Agreed. She should be told to step down.

That's true, at the same time they can't then go and get upset because someone else - not of that race- uses it. Not that I defend Suárez, but there's got to be some line. Agreed on the latter, Queen Kenny is pathetic.

Watching that video.. 40% pass 60% his own efforts. However it's the pass that shows his own efforts.. Something we need, not just for him but the whole of our attack line!

I think he did the Carling Cup games too this season, so probably a pre-arranged thing. Or if you want to chase a conspiracy, André'll be too busy on the phone to Cahill

I really don't like that Singha stuff, don't know why people do -
Doesn't help his cause at all though

Dijon coach says André has to convince the board to allow the loan to that club. Kakuta seems to be set on Dijon too, he's likely to play there.

This is a very interesting post to be honest. For Cavani to be a Chelsea type player he must be able to retain possession as Drogba used to do. We know he is a physical presence, but I haven't seen enough of him to describe his specific style of play, maybe others can help here. The 3-4-3 formation helps Cavani because the midfield backs him up tremendously, while having the class of Lavezzi & Hamsik next to him. He won't get that here, he'll also be closed down very quickly and not have much space because we're not a solely counter-attack team. We come through as a unit and that means space isn't a variable Cavani will have. Can he handle this?

Roberto Di Matteo will do tomorrow's press conference for this game.

Indeed. I don't really trust him at CB now, if I'm honest.

Steve McClaren's back at Twente. As noted no Twitter, another loan destination. He did wonders for Rajkovic & Stoch last time.

I give up.

That's what I mean, there's no need to sell.. They're well within their rights to demand as much as possible. Their books are fine & are in a strong position at the moment.
