  1. Well, we have an incoming Brazilian soon if that helps..
  2. Alright, alright. Before this gets out of hand.. Peace you're right about immature responses sometimes. But it's what you expect on internet forums because it's the devil's paradise on how accessible it is for people who are younger etc. The key is not to dignify such come-backs with a response because you get personal arguments. This will results in admins/mods being called out, bans being asked for and people end up unhappy. As for others hinting at favoritism towards certain members, I assure that's definitely not the case. Mods & Admins look at all cases of reported posts and such to hand out impartial warnings & bans when we see fit (something we hate doing!). But we don't always make it public because there's no point of that. What I'm trying to say is, just don't dignify immature responses with a reply because it'll lead to the derailment of posts & whatnot. And I urge people to use the 'report' button when someone is being out of line 'cause we will deal with it.
  3. It seems fitting, they did just lose a winger in Marin. De Bruyne should fill that gap, let's hope he'll get enough minutes!
  4. [skeptic] Anyone think we're doing too much in too little time with all these major signings we're making? I mean don't get me wrong, such players are needed, but are we buying for the sake of buying now? We've gone from too little attacking options to too many now, players aren't going to be happy with rotation. [/skeptic]
  5. Julio Cesar said he's leaving inter.. though his wage demand will probably be too much.
  6. Wait the 11 isn't actually confirmed is it? It was just a rumour last I checked!
  7. That a big assumption to make considering no-one actually knows the inside workings of this club. It wasn't so long ago that everyone was hating on Emenalo because everyone thought he was Roman's spy who cost Carlo Ancelotti his job, was responsible for the Third Reich & everything else that's wrong with the world.
  8. It's not for him to decide who appears to be world class and who doesn't, it's up to the manager. Though I do believe Oscar will shine, if that keeps Lampard out he won't be able to hold much of an argument.
  9. It only make sense Lampard will be phased out in favour for Oscar. Let's hope this time Lampard can accept that..
  10. Yeah but that won't happen till the games are finished. I'm confident it'll happen anyway, our next rivals for his sig are Tottenham. No brainer for Oscar then
  11. Kakuta seems like he's trying too hard, which is really back firing on him. He tracks back though, which is always a positive. Obviously I'm not judging him over all, but from this he looks like a squad player at best.
  12. To be honest, it's not surprising. They won't announce anything before the Olympics, it's like when we had to wait for Hazard till after the European Championships. I suspect that both Chelsea & United will wait till after August 12th to announce Oscar & Lucas respectively.
  13. Sloth & Justin - There's a simple "ignore list" you can choose to use to stop getting into such arguments, I suggest you make use of this. It'll stop the bickering, which would stop the need for us to give out warning and no-one gets banned. The reasons for Konohasorangeflah's suspension is evident for members to see & Cholou's pointed them out, so this issue doesn't really need to be brought up again. If you have complaints about members then reports such posts as you see as a personal attack - I promise you we do deal with them.
  14. Villas-Boas would kill us Levy won't sell someone like Kane, guaranteed.
  15. A blockbuster if you ever saw one, especially when you look at the names on both sides. But truth be told, I am shitting this one. Might not be important but names like Silva, Ibrahimovic & Lavezzi are enough to make hairs on the back of your neck stand up.
  16. I agree, the physicality and the pace of the PL isn't designed for players like McE or Piazon to make immediate impacts. Would the Championship, therefore, not be a better stepping stone in progression? It doesn't necessarily mean they'd come back & be ready for the challenge of the PL, but the exposure would be less damaging should they fail to shine, no?
  17. Definitely agree with that KV. The interchanging will be a tactic that will confuse a lot of opposition, especially against the bottom sides. It's a matter of if they all gel though, that will be key. Di Matteo's personal nature will play a big part in that though.
  18. Good article, this is my favourite part: That creative emphasis is something we've been crying of for.. Well forever now.
  19. Hmm, perhaps. But from the light reading I've done on him (and it has been very light) it seems his main position is AM, or in the attacking playmaker role. We don't want to have another case of Mikel where we repress that attacking talent to the extent we did with Mikel. The Nigerian is an exception though because he's actually turned into a very good DM and it's different because Oscar could still keep that attacking instinct. But I think the inexperience will show a lot in the conversion and that might hinder his progression? I was reading a good editorial on Ganso's decline on ESPN and he suffered the same faults: In fairness though, Ganso's had major injuries to cause such faults, but the inexperience to play in those roles would be an issue.
  20. True, but would you not look at the case of Phil Jones as an optimistic case for Chalobah to have a successful loan period? Jones made his Blackburn debut literally as soon as he turned 18 against us of all teams. He did quite well in that season, didn't play a lot, but got enough exposure to learn and be reliable for Bburn the season after. His United move was rushed albeit, thrown straight into the deep-end. But at Blackburn he made a successful impact & Allerdyce did well to use him sparingly.
  21. Guys.. Are you kidding me here Sloth, if you REALLY want your name changed then be patient and one of the admins will get around to doing it.
  22. That depends on how much conviction the FA really put on the development of youth -> reserve -> professional level. At least with the Championship he's guaranteed to have a step-up in the intensity of play. Obviously he wouldn't play that many games, but when he does the exposure will be brilliant. The best thing is, we won't expect he'll play that much so when he does it'll be a pleasant surprise. He'll still represent England, but I guess it's a slight disadvantage we'd lose him in our FA Youth Cup squad. The experience could be priceless however. We know Bertrand benefited greatly from it, he has over 150+ championship level games to his name.
  23. Oscar's a risk though, for that price. Okay he might not have the big glamours name that Neymar, Lucas & co have but that will probably work to his advantage. He'll still have to justify that price-tag but the pressure will be less. The only problem I see is that the rotation of Hazard, Mata, Marin & Oscar might have a negative effect instead of the desired one (to keep everyone fresh). All those players, bar Marin, prefer to play central behind the striker but they'll have to rotate among wings. At least we know that Oscar only has the one position, so it's highly unlikely that RdM will use him out-wide. But that could cause problems for Hazard especially.
