Green, Red White? Love this kit, if Chelsea did something similar now it would be class. But its a bit similar to Portugals current nike away shirt so i doubt it. I also think Yellow is good, and i loved the FA Cup winning shirt against Everton. Shoulda been an away kit that season though, not the 3rd kit.

Good post I'm beginning to prefer Carlo; I had my doubts at the start of the season but now i'm warming to him. And thats not just because he's won the title and the Fa Cup (although that has proved his merit), i just like his way of dealing with the team, in a different style to Mourinho. For instance, he actually uses the young players, giving them chances in some games, but even their prescence on the bench in some games is something not seen with Mourinho. He was a great manager but i feel Carlo allows us to play better football; for instance Mourinho seemed happy with winning 1-0 and then shutting up shop, and defending, not pushing for the extra goals, whereas with Carlo we've seen Chelsea banging them in, with the four, 7 goal results that stand out. I hope Carlo continues to impress so we dont have to go through even more managers.

I dont see where all this tension has come from in this thread. I'll support England all the way, but they wouldnt stand a chance without Terry, and also the Chelsea boys in general for that matter. Such an important part of the team, as well as others like Rooney and Gerrard etc. BTW, i totally dont rate Ferdinand, AT ALL, and if this knee injury of his thats cropped up today rules him out i'll honestly say our chance has improved. He doesnt deserve to be captain, and if the impossible occured and England actually win the world cup, my day would be ruined by that ugly cunt lifting the trophy ahead of someone that truly deserves to be lifting it (Terry). And as for other nations, I'm always rooting for the chelsea boys if England aren't playing and its a shame Essien and Ballack (possibly Drogba) have to miss out

I just dont like the idea of signing a 30 year old at 6 mill. If Joe is going, buy a young player who could do the job of coming on for 15-20 minutes or even bring one up to the first team. I'd like to see stoch in our team, he did well at twente and it'd be good to see someone like him or even kakuta being a more regular appearance maker.

And even considering the two names that have seemed most likely for Chelsea to sign (Dario Srna and Yossi Benayoun) I wouldn't particular start either of them. If we do sign any one else then maybe a bigger name could perhaps fit in Anelka/Kalou's role or as a Midfielder with Lamps and Essien would drop back. I hope more youngsters get a chance on the bench and actually get minutes on the field, and should definately play in the earlier stages of the League and FA cup.
