  1. The landslide from the moment Caicedo made the error is just pathetic. Not sure the club is fixable in the short term. Can sack Poch but wont help imo. So many people not good enough: owners, the directors of recruitment, manager, players. Would take basically the same exercise we've just done and similar money but with people who know what they're doing who do it slowly over a few years probably.
  2. The £200m Enzo Caicedo experiment is the most disappointing thing to me personally tbh. Two players for huge money that were young and cost their clubs a few million before we bought them for insane money after a brief period of them playing at a high level.
  3. Thiago limits us tactically and it is his final season. I don't disagree with dropping him and trying to move onto a system with a higher line tbh.
  4. Don't get me wrong, Poch has not been impressive, but he has tried all sorts of combinations throughout the season and this is pretty much our average result/performance irrelevant of which combo he has tried where. At the end of the day the players haven't been good enough. Poch hasn't been impressive, but the many expensive signings who have simply not delivered are the bigger fundamental problem imo.
  5. Not even sure Poch at fault for this. Embarrassing mistakes from professional players who are half trying.
  6. It is sad but hard not to think this way now. Players don't fight hard enough or brave enough at the end of the day. Only a few of them go out there ready to go hard for their teammates. Hard to engage with it.
  7. Hah, I still think the lad will come good. Gary Cahill also looked like a total fraud at times, especially in the beginning, but he really found his feet after a while and became a key player. Disasi has shown signs but not consistency, he has given it his all and been maybe our best defender this season. Certainly our best CB.
  8. Shouldn't be surprised of course, this is just genuinely our level now. Heads have to roll. Thinking about it, Boehly has to be first in line. Then PW and Poch.
  9. How do we not have a set piece coach
  10. Surely we're going full clear out before the end of season: Poch and Paul Winstanley both, at a minimum.
  11. FFP doesn't matter outside of Europe, which we're never getting into with Poch
  12. Surely Poch is gone if we lose this.
  13. Lets not turn on Palmer too. Maybe the only player out there that has earnt our forgiveness and patience.
  14. Like nearly all of our players, he is inconsistent. It seems like we bought almost all players based on how good they can be at their peak and not based on how they are on average, or how fit they can stay etc. It has really turned into a good showcase of how not to do a takeover of a football club.
  15. Guardiola quote on Grealish and his mentality on letting players play their way back into form. Really highlighted to me by comparison how miles off we are from being a top side again.
  16. It was predictable but still painful Cole Palmer is the only player that really feels Chelsea quality consistently
  17. Nice bit of time wasting from the offside - almost a whole minute lmao
  18. Cole Palmer seems to have really good fitness
  19. Painful watching how Klopp embraces his players like his sons and Poch awkwardly talks with them like men he's just met down the pub
  20. Having Mudryk and Nkunku fresh should really help us in ET, hopefully
