Caicedo's first elite game for us?
-
FFP & a clear stance that any player that wants to go can go. Their philosophy has taken them where they are. Decisions can look weird in isolation but in the aggregate can't argue really.
-
I did. While calling out everyone who is anti-Colwill-LB strat. Amazing delivery and another very good performance at LB imo
-
Cole Palmer is so well drilled in possession drills where he has to find a way to progress play out of the block. Poch coaching at work I'd imagine.
-
Oh Mudryk subbed, did not expect that, has to be injury related surely, wtf. Maatsen on and he'll probably boss this game.
-
I finally feel the excitement around Broja's potential. Not really because he scored but his overall contribution, bar that awful miss in the first 10 seconds, yeah..real athlete, hard worker, links with other players, menace to play against. Could grow into something. Mudryk and Cole Palmer also really excite me for the future. Much happier with that duo than Mount and Havertz, honestly. Enzo Caicedo double pivot FINALLY in action, and it looks insane. Colwill LB the big, unexpected genius move from Poch that a lot of people on here have been talking shit about but totally makes sense IMO
-
Our best 45 minutes since preseason I reckon
-
Stop passing it around at the back and try to get 3-0 to kill the game pls
-
Some of these Fulham players are genuinely good and we're making them look like mugs
-
Broja is so quick. Feel like he would be really good with a striker partner, like if he played off of NJ as more of a SS.
-
Agreed. If he adds shooting consistency to his game he will be genuinely one of the best midfielders in the world. Have to remember how young and inexperienced he is to be fair. Could really grow into a goal scorer over time - he's also been playing way deeper for us until recently. Everything about this project requires patience and faith.
-
When he has a run of form he will look like one of the best players in the world IMO Just concerned whether he will be able to achieve consistency or if he'll be hot and cold. Super obvious to me this lad can beat anyone on his day.
-
Have a feeling he was a really good replacement for Havertz, way higher ceiling IMO
-
If we could turn this into a big win (6-0 sort of affair) it would be TRANSFORMATIONAL for our season
-
NGL that goal looked super lucky from Broja, looked like defender just hit it and Broja was running and it just caught his leg and went in lmao
-
WHAT DID I TELL YOU ALL ABOUT THE FEELING IN MY BALLS?
-
And broja!!!
-
And Colwill LB that loads of people are slagging off gives the assist. Will you all fucking shut up about him playing there now?
-
Mudryk my boy
-
Mudryk is direct and a risk taker who doesn't mind doing something that might be embarrassing or might be amazing. I like him a lot tbh and feel he just needs a proper run and confidence from being backed.
-
Good point everything up until now was just preseason
-
The good form run started against Brighton I can feel it in my balls, we are going to win
-
I honestly totally get and approve of Colwill LB strat Not the problem with our season IMO, unless you want to argue that he is so much better than our CBs we need him there, which would be debatable but an argument I can understand...
-
Ah Broja... probably offside, but come on.
-
Mind you I do hate VAR and honestly wish it was all binned. Never got on with it. Just can't enjoy football in the same way when you can't know if something is real until a few minutes go by. When a goal is in I want to be able to celebrate but right now I'm watching, dead inside, waiting to see what happens after the deep-review as VAR desperately try to take it away from us. Bin it all off IMO. Only thing I am in favour of is a challenge based system where clubs get 1 challenge per game to ask for a review, if something looked blatantly wrong.
