NJ is completely different class but I don't mind Poch sticking by a goal scorer.. Just don't know why he didn't do the same for Mudryk. And also why NJ couldn't have played alongside, behind or on the wing.
Happy for Broja, deserves it after last game and good for him to get a run.
Would have liked to see NJ playing somewhere, but I guess I understand Poch's reasoning against too.
He could score a lot more goals just by composure and passing the ball around the keeper instead of trying to hit balls with 1000mph power. I think he will pick it up over time but not expecting a huge number of goals from him.
Sterling already said he hates playing in this position and finds it hard to find and maintain form if he gets messed around. Honestly would rather have seen almost anything else. He is just not a striker... AT ALL. Could have been a useful outlet for us on the wing.
This has devolved into maybe the worst group we've had on the field this season from an attacking PoV..just totally depleted of resources. Shocking how few options we have available already. Can't field a legitimate set of wingers or a single striker already.
We don't have any attacking outlet in this team now. Injuries and suspension really ravaged this team. What the hell is Sterling going to provide us as a 9 honestly. We just have to survive now because this is mostly a toothless side at this point
Playing at RB is good for him imo, limits expectations as he's out of position and suddenly his average performance looks adequate and we forget he was extraordinarily expensive for a pretty basic fullback
Enzo got to improve his composure honestly, so composed at passing but when it is time to shoot.. Man just needs to imagine he needs to pass it into the net and he would be amazing
