So are we going to blame FL for this too?
-
Lol. Surprising you are arguing with me on being called out by another poster regarding the name calling. Lol. I mean seriously, must be hard for you. Anyways, alonso is a decent LWB. We need a Left back back up. Understand the difference? Or is it impossible for you? He was never even a decent LB, he is bad. Please read and atleast try to understand what the other person writes. Might help you a bit. Not that anything I write here is going to matter to you, because mostly you live and post in your own sweet world.

His play has always been as shit, if you could not see it, I doubt your football intelligence. Also go back to the reguilon thread, and read it. Or I can post it here. The point was always about if alonso is decent enough to be a no.2, not if he is better than emerson. But what can you expect from someone like you. It was always about how high a priority should buying another LB be for us, and I always thought it to be as a very high priority, given how poor alonso abd emerson are. I was not the one saying he is a better LB than half the first choice LBs in the league (lol). Lastly, I did not quote you, because I don't want to have a tete-a-tete with you. I guess I made that quite clear even in the last discussion we had. And we have both lived peacefully since then, and long may it continue. The only reason I did quote hutcho was because I felt exactly the same way. Moreover, it was just another example of how quickly opinions change on here regarding players, managers, etc. Just to follow the bandwagon

I think Gallagher's future is more in a B2B role specially with his pace, intensity. I feel him and Gilmour as back ups to Kante and Rice. Mount as a back up to Kai and wingers. Personally, I am an Ampadu fan. Think he has a brilliant future ahead of him. The minimum I expect him to be as good as Ake who would be better than any of our options other than Silva. I would hold on to any plans for a new CB just yet. See how silva-zouma plays out. Can andreas somehow push his way in. The one position I hope and expect us to make a play for is 2nd LB. We just dont have a decent LB back up.
-
Gallagher should be in the squad next year.
-
Totally agree What's worse is that in the reguilon thread, it was the same person saying that alonso is a decent 2nd LB and we dont need to get a 2nd lb and now it's "shitlonso" or "alonslow" or whatever childish name-calling.

The transfer window for the portuguese league is still open?
-
So baba rahman, Drinkwater, Moses, Van Ginkel all of them still at the club?
-
Fair enough. I felt he was way off the pace. Lost the ball way too many times, for me to classify this as a good performance. But it's true, it can only get better from here.

https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1485216/LiveStatistics/England-Premier-League-2020-2021-Chelsea-Crystal-Palace Maybe, maybe not. He had 5 "bad touches" leading to loss of possession. Seemed slow, to the point he was dispossessed, and had to make a bad tackle (eze). Not an indication of his talents, but he is way off in settling down and learning about this league. If mount had put in that performanfe, lost the ball as many times, he would have been slaughtered.

Ssssshhh. We are not allowed to make sensible posts which put FL in a positive light.
-
That might also have been because chilwell's alternatives were on the same level as him and not pl proven. Partey is on a totally different level. One of the best imo. Personally I would love him here.
-
How is it sensitive? If all or most you post is negative, then the few who are pro-FL will simply defend it. The article is well written and well articulated starting with how much stick FL is getting by fanbase, how much shit his predecessors were. He has a LOT of valid points. The comparison with pep and Klopp was not literal. It was just an example of having patience. As well might have used SAF at United (how mant years did it take for him to win his first title) or Wenger at arsenal. It was simple saying "Rome was not built in a day". Maybe FL does not deserve as much leeway as Klopp (his team was shit until he hit gold with vvd). But he sure as hell deserves far more than what we have been giving him. It seems he is on "thin ice" with the fans which is utterly ridiculous given that we massively over acheived last season, had one of the best transfer windows since 2004, and are generally looking to be on an upward trajectory. So obviously you can write whatever you want regarding FL, it's definitely not a crime. But why is defending him being treated as such. I am simply stating facts here.
-
You said that pep and Klopp were established manager hence given time. I am giving you proof to the contrary, that taking a punt on an unproven manager can/has/will work. What did we get by trusting "proven" managers like sarri. Conte gave us a league title but at what cost, left us with alonsos, emersons, bakayokos, moratas. Jose got us a league title at what cost/? Kdb, salah. I think it's high time we realise that instant gratification ever hardly develops into a stable and long term success. Like most of the long term success stories, we will have to pay our due. So far FL has shown worth the trust, be it with our 4th position finish (when no one expected us in top 6), with his transfer targets and dealings, or general play
-
We should be looking to get our house in order.
-
Did barca or bvb know it too?
-
Who would you have started on the lw, please would you elaborate on that? Given that werner starts at striker
-
Need to give timo the benefit of doubt aa he is being played out of position. Kai is being played where he prefers, with literally no defensive responsibilities. His turn is a worry, his 1st touch looks shit. Only good thing is the movement.
-
How.shit has kai been.
-
Has probably been out worst player on the pitch. Has a turn span greater than a Boeing 747. Plus can't hold onto the ball.
-
They are going to counter us. And we will fold. Going to be a long 2 weeks going into the international break
-
It's a catch 22 situation. How do we get puli in as US are not playing any friendlies. Have to take a leap of faith. We are already out of 1 competition. Can't keep delaying the come back of 2 of our best player. There is never going to be a perfect game than the "next" one. Let's atleast go into the international break with some positivity. Cause right now, things really are not looking good. Zaha is gonna score, we know that. Palace are going to score 2, maybe 3. We need goalscorers and actual playmakers.
-
If either of puli/ziyech are unavailable, what are our options? Have to play werner there or maybe kai/mount.
-
Are puli/Ziyech fit? For the love of GOD. please!!! Anyways, Mendy Reece AC Silva Chilwell Kante CHO Kai Barkley/Mount Werner Tammy
-
Spurs line up?
