  1. Minnesota is beating Everton 3-0 atm. Lol Least we scored in the first half this time...
  2. I'm good with the attack, it's not amazing but I just don't want them to rush into a signing like Lukaku. As long as the wingbacks are healthy we should be OK with the addition of Sterling. But if one of them go down ( knock on wood) I hope Tuchel has a better plan B than last season. Connor was looking sharp but we looked much better in the second half aside from the OG.
  3. If Mason can develop and become better in a deeper position that will unlock so much for the team. Teams will actually have to respect someone coming forward and having the ability to score. Don't want to see Timo on the wings too often once the season starts. He's way too stiff and can help us playing CF.
  4. With you on Sane. He's physically gifted but his footballing IQ has never improved. He'll have those wow moments with his speed and left foot but disappears far too often. Bayern have the right thinking preferring to keep Gnarby over him.
  5. I personally think he's better than Rudiger. Obviously Rudiger has proven it on the big stage in the PL but physically KK is world class. I think it's a great signing and immediately makes us better. Maybe we might not even have to play three in the back all the time. Speed is still there and he's rock solid defensively. Top signings in KK and Sterling. Would love a midfielder or hopefully Gallagher takes the next step. Think MF is an area that's not talked about enough because we really got exposed there last season.
  6. Part of his job to recruit players too. They're playing for him so if we fail this window then he deserves some blame. Seems like we're ready to negotiate and spend.
  7. Azpi + Alonso + Fee for FDJ. Would be awesome. Lol
  8. I agree with a lot of your reasonings on why those players have failed at Chelsea. I didn't like the Lukaku signing one bit like most of us. He failed in big moments playing in the Prem in the past so why would you sign him for an outrageous fee? For me last season it was Haaland or be patient but they wanted to make a big signing off the Champions league win and it really backfired... When Lukaku did his interview that got him in the doghouse, I kind of believed him when he was told by Tuchel we would play a certain way and ended up playing the same formation week in and week out. I still think certain attacking players and agents are wary of Tuchel. He doesn't take enough accountability when we fail and we struggled against bottom table teams too often. No adjustments or tinkering was done, basically just swapping out the front three every week was his "solution". Boehly will be looked to if we fail to secure impact signings but he's stated he's given Tuchel money to spend and it's also TT's job to give perspective players belief in Chelsea. FDJ would flourish in this system...maybe we can sell him the champions league or something. Lol
  9. Wouldn't be surprised if agents are swaying certain attacking players not to come here. I'm sure players like Lukaku, Ziyech, and Werner don't think very highly of TT's tactics and word can travel. All three players have their flaws but it also doesn't look great when each one was class before coming here. Don't think there's much of a belief Tuchel can elevate an attacking player. Raphina was worried he might have to play wingback and that's probably one of the reasons why he doesn't want to be here. If he did he would already be ours so I think that's somewhat telling. Seems like we'll have to overpay and give up some hefty wages to secure some signings but we need them. De Jong, Sterling, and MDL would be a great summer of business.
  10. Not surprised attackers aren't really excited to come here at the moment. Obviously with our status and money we will get some players but I can understand the skepticism for someone like Raphina. Literally no one who signed here improved and the tactics aren't great for attacking players. Tuchel noted that we don't plan on changing anything so let's see if anything improves, still think TT has a lot of questions to answer regardless of who we end up with.
  11. Raphina and Sterling is good business. Would still love to see a midfielder be signed but good start if those two signings do occur.
  12. Agreed. The creativity from our midfield is horrendous. We literally have to play a certain way to cater to them because they can't hold up the ball on their own or work out of a press... To me our #1 priority.
  13. Still not fully convinced with TT. When we stopped defending at an elite level he had no answers to elevate the attack. We struggle to score no matter who the opposition is and barely finished 3rd after a fantastic start. I understand we were missing some key players but part of the managers job is to make adjustments to keep us going. To me that didn't happen and the second half of the season and we dropped so many points to bottom tier clubs. Tuchel was the best thing that could have happened to us following Lampard, he might have been the only one who could have led us to the Champions League last season and deserves massive credit for that feat. That's now in the past and I think he still has a lot to prove.
  14. We're critical of our attackers but when is the last time we've played a formation that caters to the attackers? When have we been consistent scoring in the two seasons Tuchel has been in charge? Our shape caters to the defense and to our midfield who barely have any creativity. Yes, you can always improve on what you have but when will Tuchel instill any kind of offensive gameplan that gives us confidence? Most of the time it's three attackers on an island and they have to come back and collect the ball in the midfield because lord knows Jorginho and others can't handle a press to save their lives. Aside from Mount no one has been consistent and I think it's time Tuchel answers some of these questions and shoulders some of the blame.
  15. Good thing we're not really playing for much anymore. Seems like most players have mentally packed it in
  16. Would love to see a formation change and an extra attacker put on with top 4 secured. Just one game we don't have to rely on Marcos Alonso down the flank and be more aggressive, please?
  17. Guess Mount just likes to choke against Liverpool this season....He looks nervous stepping up to the spot so not too surprised by the miss... How do you not put on Werner in extra time and just have him run like mad? You better win in penalties if you have that mentality to put RLC up top...
  18. I'm going big Rom. He deserves it as Tuchel tends to ride the player in-form. Probably going to use the standard formation but It would be nice to watch four in attack someday. --------lukaku------ -puli---mount---havertz Ziyech could slide in for puli or havertz too.
  19. Need revenge from the Carabao Cup. It's good to get a bit of momentum going into this, we always seem to play them close.
  20. Just shows how important Rudi is to the mentality of the defense. Without his fire the defense looks lost. In two seasons with Tuchel we haven't shown any progress or signs of consistently being able to score. At least last season when you saw a 2-0 lead it was pretty much a done deal with how well we defended. Seems like Tuchel just wants to ride out the season playing the same tactics and formation with hardly any in game adjustments...
  21. Looked terrible today but not very surprised about the result after seeing how both teams were lined up. Tuchel continues to run the same tactics against lower tier teams who park the bus. We rely on three in the back and wingbacks every match... There's no ambition as the players seem disinterested with his current tactics. It's like he's scared to be more aggressive when we're still losing being conservative...
