  1. I pray to God this is true but know it is probably just a case of being trolled.
  2. Or maybe Enzo has seen enough and told the club that Disaster and Badiashile aren't what he requires and they should shift them. From where I am sitting, I will offer my services to drive Disaster to wherever is required just give me the destination and pick up time.
  3. Some rumours indicate Trev is their No.1 choice if Guehi leaves. At this point just take what is on offer if reasonable. Disaster is worse but we need a decent CB for this season and we can't do anything until 1-2 of them are sold at a minimum.
  4. Well that isn't what it will be credited as. If we buy him for £50m on a 5 year contract and sell Gallagher It will either be: +£27m on the books. Or if both deals fall through: £0 on the books. The board apprantly look at this deal through this lens. £42m and £50m make little difference as the key for them is selling Gallagher. BTW, I do not agree with this, just pointing it our.
  5. As for the team, please no Sanchez and Disaster. I personally would go for: Jorgensen Gusto Tosin Colwill Cucu Romeo Enzo Palmer Nukunku Sterling Jackson
  6. Why do we always get this cunt in big games? It seems like out of our games against the 5 biggest teams we have him for 3 of them minimum.
  7. Yeah, it did look like we were so desperate for the FFP money we were willing to take a player from them at a vastly inflated rate. He obviously doesn't have much of a market as otherwise someone else would've been in for him (Samu).
  8. I honestly just see VO as an average player. Also, poor man Haaland is a big concern. Haaland isn't technically great so has to be a freak in terms of physicality and desire. Without either of those two he becomes bang average. This is all well and good, but does he create the same xG in a more difficult league? It is all well outperforming your xG, but if your xG is already poor than that means your ultimate numbers are still poor.
  9. I say we get them to get the Lukaku deal over the line and then bail on the VO deal. I honestly don't see VO as a player to elevate us a level. Sure he may be a bit better than the 2024-25 versions of Jackson/Guiu etc, but I am not sure how long that would last. Then we would have to try and shift him when we already have tons of players to shift. Focus on incoming should now be solely focused on CB. No ifs, no buts. Felix is the only exception if we have to do it to sort the finances out. As for outgoings we need to sell like crazy.
  10. Yeah, we need to shift 8-10 players. Not entirely sure it is possible. Probably two for AM alone.
  11. Tbf, Barca wanted to keep him but couldn't keep him due to La Liga FFP. It isn't quite true that he wasn't wanted by them.
  12. Yeah, Guiu has really impressed me. Considering he is 18 he has really good strength and was bigger than I thought he would be. On top of that, because he came out of La Masia he has good technical ability (arguably very good for a CF.) His movements off the ball are also good in that he moves like a proper No.9 where is is either drawing people away from goal or makes his runs towards goal. The only issue I have had with him is how he snatches at things. A few times in preseason he went to lash it and sliced it when a little dink/side footer would've been better. Hopefully, that is just nerves and his inexperience. If so, he could become very decent imo. Well, I think the question is do you rather Felix or Samu in exchange for Gallagher? As it appears to be one or the other. Additionally, people need to remember Felix is still 24, the way some people go on you would think he is 29 or something. Yeah, he seems to have realised the GK's weren't good enough as we went from not needing a GK, to needing a GK after one week of training. Hopefully the same will be true of Disaster.
  13. Maybe. You would think that there is another PL club that would take him if this one collapses. I think this fecks AM more than us. No way do they find another team paying £35m for Samu, at which point the Alverez deal probably falls apart. That is a much bigger blow.
  14. The skill is there with Felix, it is more the commitment and desire with him. He is one of those players that could be excellent but is happy to coast as a 'good player' as it is easier and less hassle. This said, he is still only 24 so it could be he is late to mature and then steps up. For me, he is an OK signing as he is better than Sterling and Mudryk (who we could hopefully shift - although I am doubtfu) - however, he must notwreck the wage structure as I could see that causing a disaster.
  15. So in other words this guy doesn't know anything, will wait until a proper journo publishes something and then will repeat pretending he is an 'in the know.'
  16. Yeah, this isn't making sense. Even if we sell the high earners. I don't see how we then go out and drop £200k+ pw on VO and Felix as it will cause massive issues with players like Palmer. What happens if he has 15 goal contributions by Dec, he could the start asking for £350k+ a week.
  17. I haven't seen this kid and refuse to judge players unless I see 10 games/900 mins of them before passing judgement. Is he actually good? Are we missing out on a top player or is he really rough and if all comes right, he will be an OK player? If it is the latter, then don't feel too sorry as we don't need another player like that. If it is the former be pissed and feel sorry for him.
  18. What crackhead is taking Sterling's wages on? In addition, he is the only player, alongside Palmer and KDH that actually has an idea of the play style Enzo wants to play (Lavia also may be able to say he can do this as well). So, I can see Enzo wanting him around of possible.
  19. Both are overrated. However, at least Felix has the better technical skill. Only issue I see here is wages. We aren't going to drop top wages in Felix and he knows he has a nice fat contract with AM and then can get another decent wage with a chunky sign-on bonus by waiting out. It is all well and good the clubs want to play Financial Olympics but really the whole circus is going to fall on either us causing issues with our wage structure or Felix giving up a lot of dough. The former is super dangerous for us and the latter is unlikely as it isn't as if Felix is some dyed in the wool Chelsea fan.
  20. Failed a medical with us? This guy must be more fucked than Perri Piper.
  21. I am OK with the CF's we have with Jackson, Guiu and Samu. Nkunku and Palmer can do a job as a false 9 as well. For me, we need to get serious and look for a CB before we do anything. In addition, we do not need a LW, we just need to sell/loan Sterling and/or Mudryk.
  22. Yeah, I don't want him at all tbh, I rather we develop Jackson, Samu and Guiu rather than have him here on big wages/expectations. He is average to good. We shouldn't be going big on him. His one great season skewed opinion.
  23. VO has disaster written all over him. Personally, I hope Napoli find a buyer elsewhere then take Lukaku. Also, PSG and Arse will not all of a sudden 'jump in'. It is clear Napoli also want rid of VO a want Lukaku of all people. If so many people wanted VO it would be easier for Napoli to sell him to one of them then buy Lukaku rather than feck about with Clearlake with a double deal. Yeah, this is the only deal I would accept and that is only because it gets rid of Lukaku.
  24. If the £25m is true, Trevor is one of the biggest bargains in the market. His HG status alone makes him a bargain as a rotation option for most clubs. That is before we even get to him being better than a number of our current CB's.
  25. Yeah, I agree with this. I never got the Cucu hate. Sure we overpaid but he wasn't actually so poor you question if he should be a professional footballer like Disaster. He simply became a whipping boy because he looks a bit ridiculous. Jackson imo is the next one where people who were absolutely clowning him last season, will say 'yeah, he isn't bad actually'/start rowing back on some of the things they said about him. .
