It happens everywhere. In Brazil, in England in USA and in other sports league like NBA. There are people that go to stadium to watch the game, just to enjoy the experience. Many people that travel to USA go to a NBA game as tourists. In Brazil there are people that go to stadium, they support the club, but they really dont care if the manager is John or Paul, and about this woman, come on Kez, its a very good thing to see ladies enjoying football, but asking for them to know Norwich is a little too much.

So sacking RDM means no respect for fans? I thought giving the fans an UCL, and players like Didier is more than respect.
-
The World Cup was tne reason RDM got the axe right now. I really understand that. Chelsea just won the UCL, its a huge opportunity to improve the brand around the world and to estabilish itself as one of greatest clubs in the world. Many people thought Chelsea did not deserve to win UCL last season. Then against Atlético, we were humiliated. Now, the first european champion to not advance to knockout stage in UCL. Imagine now the club losing the World Cup in Japan next month.

I have to say there is a bad atmosphere. Sacking RDM, and now the racism thing. Its just depressing, months after winning the PL, perhaps the worst week in recent years. Thats chaos. Its really sad when you open the sites and Chelsea is everywhere, but its not about football, its about how the owner is mad, about how the Chelsea almost destroyed a poor referees life. I dont like this, I hope we just win against City and then we stop talking about this kind of thing. I really feel sorry for RDM, but imo he is the reason we have so many problems right now. RDM never had the same power the previous managers had, the board never saw him as the right man. He was given the job because no other top manager would aceept this job when the world knows the club is waiting for Guardiola. Even AVB had more power, lets remember that he told Alex and Anelka to leave during the season. We were left with a small squad, full of weakness, this board is doing a really stupid job when they keep buying players like De Bruyne, Lukaku, Marin and Aziplicueta. A club like Chelsea needs a manager like Guardiola, Mourinho, Hiddink...or Benitez. RDM was not ready yet. Working in a club like Chelsea means the manager has to build a relationship with the people that have the power, you need to be a politician. There is a lot more in RDM sacking than just a couple of bad results.

Chelsea lodge complaint about Clattenberg
Henrique replied to bababoom's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Thats a good thing. -
You must be crazy, I barely post in Oscar topic, and I dont rememer one single time when I defended Hazard.
-
Everytime someone say one bad word about Hazard, there are reactions from the hysteric belgians fans. Willian and Reus are playing a lot better, yes, but why he have to support Shaktar or Dortmund? He has to say Hazard is better than anyone to support Chelsea? This topic really look like a Hazard fan page.
-
You also should shut the fuck up, and learn how to write our nationality, its not BraSilian, its BraZilians. I'm far from delusional, I've been here for quite a long time, I'm criticize everyone I believe is not playing well or on pair with the hype. Right now I think that Hazard is not playing that well, and while I like belgian fans I get the feeling many of them joined the forum to support Hazard. When started to follow Chelsea, there was no brazilian playing here, and by the time I joined this forum there were only Alex and Beletti. You should respect a TC Legend, dude.

Giving RDM a full time job was a mistake in my opnion. Though I believe he had a huge part in UCL glory, he did that in a very special situation, so I dont get the argument: "he gave Chelsea a UCL months ago". Yes, it was rash, but just look at the topic about RDM, most people said it was too early to say he was the right man for Chelsea. It means a lot of people had misgivings about him. The board and the owner had too, thats why he got the axe.

We spent 18m on Lukaku, we spent much more on Wright Philips, we bought an injury-prone Marin. Its easy to forget Benitez got players like Mascherano, Alonso, Agger and Torres. Not saying he is a superb manager, but at least he is decent. Its just ridiculous right now this kind of thing, I just hope we have a nice end of season.

Get the feeling this was the reason why RDM was sacked for Benitez.
-
Torres using a Chelsea shirt never felt right.

I used to support the sackings. Scolari, Carlo and AVB, all of them deserved the axe, because they are not good enough. Right now its a madness. I really dont know if RDM was the right man for the long term run, but whats the point of sacking the guy right now. Its November, if Guardiola is really the top 1 target, RDM could easily be the man to lead us to the end of the season. Ending with 10 points in this group is not that bad, and our current position in PL is no that bad as well, we are benind 2 clubs that have a much better squad. We are in a transition period, what can Benitez do to add to development of the team? The board really believe Benitez can turn this squad into a PL champion right now? This is not like previous seasons, where we already had a team, and the manager "only" had to keep that team working. Right now there is no team, RDM was building one. Perhaps Benitez got a short term deal, and then if Guardiola goes somewhere else, Benitez will know the club and will have a better chance to succeed in the long term.

What about Steve Clark?
-
RDM was sacked when he was appointed as new coach. It was clear such thing would happen.
-
Football is not about spending money, is about passion and how your heart fell about a club. That was a knee-jerk reaction, and you are one person that love to call other people plastic and glory hunters when they post things when they are "angry". You are acting like those people right now.
-
I really dont know what is the difference between this "fans" saying they are embarrassed, or that they are done with the club, and the so called glory hunters. These people are a disgrace. After Roman gave Chelsea a UCL, and players like Drogba,,is just how pathetic how people come here and write this kind of garbage.
-
You are done because a manage was sacked, and one you dont like will come? Plastic fan or what?
-
You are a HUGE idiot. Its the same that being on an airplane and hoping for a crash.

The Benitez talk is everywhere, it seems even Avran Grant's been discussed. I feel sorry for RDM, but it really seems he wont last long. Everybody knows that Guardiola would be the perfect man for the moment, if not right man, at least at his stage in the season I'm sure Roman would have faith in this man. This was the problem with Robbie, the questions about he being or not the right man would start as soon as a couple of bad results. In Talk Chelsea, people used to support managers to the death, just like we saw last season with AVB, when a lot of crazy arguments were made to support the portuguese. Right now we dont have this kind of thing, few people come here to say RDM is the right man and should not be sacked, even people that likes him a lot seems to know deep down in their hearts that unfortunately the task was too much for him.

His worst game in the season, he looked unhappy.
