I used to support the sackings. Scolari, Carlo and AVB, all of them deserved the axe, because they are not good enough. Right now its a madness. I really dont know if RDM was the right man for the long term run, but whats the point of sacking the guy right now. Its November, if Guardiola is really the top 1 target, RDM could easily be the man to lead us to the end of the season. Ending with 10 points in this group is not that bad, and our current position in PL is no that bad as well, we are benind 2 clubs that have a much better squad. We are in a transition period, what can Benitez do to add to development of the team? The board really believe Benitez can turn this squad into a PL champion right now? This is not like previous seasons, where we already had a team, and the manager "only" had to keep that team working. Right now there is no team, RDM was building one. Perhaps Benitez got a short term deal, and then if Guardiola goes somewhere else, Benitez will know the club and will have a better chance to succeed in the long term.

The Benitez talk is everywhere, it seems even Avran Grant's been discussed. I feel sorry for RDM, but it really seems he wont last long. Everybody knows that Guardiola would be the perfect man for the moment, if not right man, at least at his stage in the season I'm sure Roman would have faith in this man. This was the problem with Robbie, the questions about he being or not the right man would start as soon as a couple of bad results. In Talk Chelsea, people used to support managers to the death, just like we saw last season with AVB, when a lot of crazy arguments were made to support the portuguese. Right now we dont have this kind of thing, few people come here to say RDM is the right man and should not be sacked, even people that likes him a lot seems to know deep down in their hearts that unfortunately the task was too much for him.

It depends what you call success. About Xavi and Iniesta, as you said they were nobodies. What is hapenning with Chelsea, is the same thing hapenning you brazilian national team. They got rid of the old players, and then suddenly Neymar, only 19 years old then, became the man. The other players that people were talking about were Ganso, Lucas and now Oscar, all of them are u23 guys. They discovered that despite the young talent, those guys lacked experience. Brazil lost all big matches, and now they are asking Kaká again, and the talk is that Ronaldinho should return as well. About Hazard, yes, he gave some assists, he has some good games, but nothing close to the hype around him before he joined. There were talk about him being our captain, and this kind of weird thing.

There were some weird formations where even Marin was on the starting XI team, instead of Ramires. Its a shame that some people here believed Lampard was no longer needed, or that Ramires should sit on the bench for unproven u21 guys.

Hazard was a 32m signing but right now he is still a player for the future, along with Oscar they are promissing players, but unproven in a higher stage. The problem is they believed both were ready to lead this team.

Thats a bit rash, because I believe RDM played a huge part in the UCL glory. But I have to agree. We are not making progression, and his tatics today proved that. We always played with a CF, and then he tried this new thing. Actually we are not looking like a team, game after game, it seems we rely on the talent of Ramires, Oscar, Hazard and Mata. When you look the fixture, we will have a lot of games between November and January. The squad is really small, today we had no CB in the bench, and you put a tournament in Japan in the table, I'm think I saw this movie before...
