Why is he doing?
-
If only Pulisic was born in UK...he would be playing gamer after game under Lampard.
-
What was his explanation?
-
LOL Mate, nothing special in predicting Morata, Bakayoko and Falcao would flop...what was surprising was people claiming those guys would be huge success, but you are right, Uncle Frank got some big balls for playing Abraham from the beginning. Few managers around would put faith in a young CF coming from Championship.
-
Not sure if the board will give him the time was promised, but right now its safe to say that in his first games he looks the worst manager of Abramovich era by a (un) comfortably margin. Yeah, his ideas are great, and the team can produce a nice football for some part of the game...but the results just don't come. He reminds me of Andre Villas Boas but AVB at least made subs that made sense. To other side Lampards subs are completely crazy and just don't make any sense. I don't see this team even finishing inside top 10.

As soon as Lampard was appointed manager I entered in the "I don't care mode" for this season. I just hope he is given time to develop something useful, but I still think his appointment never made sense in the first place.
-
I thought he was easily the best player on the midfield.
-
This guy is not ready yet. This is not Championship. He was painful to watch!
-
Barkley was our best player today. It seems Mount is what Jorginho was to Sarri last season.
-
1st half was enough to convince me that Lampard is way better than Sarri. But Abraham and Mount are below bar. Pulisic and Giroud, please.
-
Great display from Barkley
-
Abraham and Mout out in HT please. Painful to watch both.
-
Mason fella is not ready to even make the bench.
-
When I look at the predicted starting line-up for today's match...man, thats pretty depressing. The good news is that United team is even more depressing and they didnt even have a transfer ban as the scapegoat.
-
Actually it sounds like Lampard told Luiz that he would not be getting many games as he would like.
-
Thats weird. I'm pretty sure Lampard told Luiz he won't be starting many games this season or there is something going on behind the scenes. This came out of nowhere.
-
WTF? I'm reading the last 50 pages, and it seems no one got a clue about the kind of football coach Lampard is.
-
Anyone know the kind of coach Lampard is? His tactics and game approach?
-
Mate, I'm with you in this shit. I'm pretty sure the board is appointing Lampard because Zidane was a success with Real Madrid.
-
Mate, its 100% obvious that the whole thing about Mourinho returning is made up.
-
I'm still convinced the whole Lampard thing is 100% bullshit.
-
I just keep asking myself: if the club is looking at different names, how in the hell the press know who is the "leading" candidate?
-
Any chance of Poch becoming the next manager?
-
Roman is so used to fire managers...Sarri asking to leave must be a huge blow for him. At the end or the day Sarri going back to Italy is an onbvious choice. He is respected there, and lets be honest: right now Juventus has a better chance of winning things than us.
-
This topic became a shit show in recent days. The Lampard links and the Sarri to Juventus thing is as ridiculous as Harry Redknapp rumors years ago. Most of those reports are based in the ultra unreliable Italian sources, same ones that were claiming Guardiola will be Juventus manager next season. Not sure how people still buy this shit, when everything indicates that Sarri is staying. The fact he wasn't sacked after the City and Bornemouth defeats speaks loud...but the press keep feeding the idea that his job is at risk. Its even more laughable the idea that the club is looking after Lampard, when you just have to look back the managers that were appointed during Abramovich years that its pretty clear the club always go after a name that has some kind of experience at high levels: -Mourinho (UCL winner) -Scolari (WC winner) -Carlo Ancelotti (Serie A and UCL winner) -AVB (Europa League winner playing attacking football) -Mourinho again. -Conte (Serie A winner, Italy NT manager). -Sarri (very popular in Italy and considered by many as one of the best managers in Europe). Appointing Lampard because the board want to make fans happy doesn't make sense, because its pretty clear the board don't do things based in what the fans are asking (otherwise they would never sack Mourinho or even AVB or Ancelotti). If Sarri indeed leaves, its pretty obvious the club will appoint someone like Massimiliano Allegri.
