  1. Commentator today said at ESPN that he wasn't impressed with Oscar interview after Atléticos game: he seemed as passive as you like. Its not the kind of attitude you expect from a player after not playing in a big match like that. He also said Oscar seems to me more concerned with World Cup than anything. I don't know if its his personality, but I'm afraid Oscar lacks the winning mentality. He seems okay after a defeat. The kid is really weird.
  2. This forum is embarrassing sometime, after a bad result the players topic are full of "shit", "pure shit", and full of "amazing". "as good as Ronaldo", "best CB in the world". "godlike performances" after a good result. William had a decent game. His problem was his finishing with 2 or 3 wasteful shoots. He didn't defended well today, because the team barely had defensive duties today. He really needs to improve his shooting next season.
  3. I think he still has some years of quality football. Its a real shame to see he leaving. He has been immense in the past seven years anyway. His biggest moment in my opinion was in the penalty shootout against Bayern. After Cech saved Olic one, he had all the pressure on his shoulders, but his shoot was as cool as you like.
  4. One honestly question: the team needed to win, then in the 2nd Mourinho decided Luiz was more usable to help the team to score a goal than Lampard. Can he really help the team next season?
  5. "I think boring is a team that plays at home and cannot score a goal. That's boring." Mourinho, Jose,
  6. The question is: who's this player? There aren't many strikers out there with that qualities, basically a man that can beat the whole defense by himself.
  7. BUT you keep liking my posts when I have the same opinion as you, but I'm just and idiot when you don't agree. You are the "only places to be" team. If I don't agree with you opinion, you just try to disqualify my posts with the easiest way to get "likes": just write some random insult. Amusing.
  8. Thats it. I think Luiz made a mistake in Everton's away game, a howler in Norwich away game, and then he was dropped after Newcastle game when he somehow became the scapegoat. After that Cahill+Terry became the partnership, and Luiz the 2nd choice, but after that the team kept conceding goals, the whole thing changed when Jose changed his game approach.
  9. I ignored your posts a long time ago, but someone decide to quote it, and I knew who you were replying. Man, listen, I don't know you, but at Talk Chelsea you are really a despicable person. When you have no more arguments, you always come with thins kind of thing: you are a real supporter. Your opinion really matters because YOU are a SUPPORTER. You are always trying to manipulate other people's opinion. Week after week you are on Ramires and Luiz topic spreading your negativism, but when people appears to criticize Mourinho, Cahill or Lampard, they just have an agenda and/or are negative members. I don't even see myself as a SUPPORTER, so don even bother about that, if you think you demoralizing me with that kind of thing, you couldn't be more wrong. I'm just a fan. But I find it really amusing that, if Mourinho is a Chelsea's manager today, its not to put a smile in the face of 40.000 at SB. If it weren't for "plastic fans" and "glory hunters" buying blue shirts and watching games around the globe, at this point probably one player at the end of his career would be the head coach. Thats a big dilemma in those people's mind: they love the currently status as giant club, but they can't stand the other things the success brings. In those people's wettest dreams, Chelsea would be this powerful club, winning UCL finals, house for great international players at the peak of their careers, but still a club restricted to Chelsea SUPPORT that has been there for a while. For me, I think its really odd that at the same time you see some people as insignificant, your seems really bothered by those people. How can anyone be bothered by an insignificant thing? To end the whole thing: I think you have been at this forum long enough to understand this place is not a home for the "type of fan" you are talking about, actually the vast majority of this forum is composed by people you really want to avoid (unless they are positive toward players and managers you like, and negative towards the ones you dislike). ps: cancer is a fucking serious stuff, you should understand that word can means a lot for some people, but thats exactly what I would expect from a despicable member like you (I'll repeat member, I don't know who you are as a person).
  10. I missed the coat of arms in the middle of the flag.
  11. Are you from Colombia or Australia?
  12. One of the most stupidest things that can happen in the summer...
  13. Mourinho almost destroyed Luiz career, but somehow he will be sold for 30m, an impressive amount of money for a player that is considered a liability is third choice for CB, behind the not so almighty Gary Cahill. But for a manager that sold Mata, and "might sell Hazard and Oscar", thats not a big deal at all.
  14. Sounds really cool for me, but I think every two weeks would be better. Lets see what everyone else thinks about it. Everyone should asks questions, but I think someone should formulate questions based in people's interest, otherwise we might end up with this kind of thing: 1. Do you hate matic? - No. 2. On a scale of 0-10 where will u rate matic? -6. 3. Did matic do something to you? -No. We already have a player's topic for that kind of question. The purpose of my idea is: people will get to know each other a bit more.
  15. Superb article about Mourinho from Owen: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/10804753/Michael-Owen-Jose-Mourinhos-tactics-are-effective-but-certainly-not-genius.html "Mourinho will spend the summer hunting the next Drogba but when he does make signings do not expect much to change. The Chelsea of next season will be the same but better. The Mourinho masterplan will be to recruit players to make his current, ultra-cautious approach even more effective, not to alter the pattern of play. It will make Chelsea as formidable as they have always been under Mourinho, but please use the phrase ‘tactical genius' sparingly." But I'm afraid he is way too optimistic about our prospects for next season, not sure if we will be better or more effective, that remains to be seen.
  16. The kind of negativity Mourinhos brings is really incredible. You just need to read people fighting each other in the player's topic to understand what I mean. He really created an all-in situation for next season. It might be a turning point for his career. A bad one.
  17. For me its a disgrace that we end the season without Mata, Hazard and Oscar future in doubt, while Mourinho is praising Ramires, Cahill and Ivanovic, and the attacking players Mourinho likes most is Willian, because of his defensive work rate. Is this really happening?
  18. One interesting fact: Mourinho will be the first manager to not get the axe after a trophyless season under Roman. Can you imagine Mourinho keeping his job after TWO trophy-less seasons? Judging by Jose's comments today I predict Guardiola as head coach for 15/16 season.
  19. LMAO http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/10806112/Chelsea-manager-looking-for-a-new-team-of-untouchables-to-match-Stamford-Bridges-class-of-2006.html This thing is depressing at best. Hazard and Oscar future are in doubt, while Ivanovic, Cahill, Azi, JT older versio, Matic and Ramires are the new spine. From Ballack. Carvalho, JT younger version, Makelele, Drogba and Essiento this? Matic+Ramires is his ideal pivot? I said in another topic, this season had been Ramires worst one. He was a different player in past two seasons. In the current one he became nothing more than a frustrating player, and a pain to watch, but it seems Mourinho is really happy with he saw. I don't even have to mention our frustrating and laughable full back situations, and an average CB in disguise. Dark times ahead...
  20. I think when of the biggest lies we get used to is that Cahill became a great CB during this season. In crucial moments of the season Cahill+Terry showed they are actually a liability. When Cahill started to play "really good" was just after Mourinho decided his squad wasn't good enough, and gave up the idea of implementing an attacking playing style and the team became a pragmatic one. I mean, its not that difficult to defend when you have the whole team concerned about defending in the first place. Cahill+Terry was the partnership when the team conceded 6 goals in two games against Stoke + Sunderland. After that Jose's team became more pragmatic, more defensive and less adventurous. I mean, even the kid Kalas looked like a world class CB against Liverpool, when we had 11 eleven players defending the whole game. Its frustrating to see Mourinho praising our back four, because our weak point has been the defense for some time. Buying a lot of attacking players, and forgetting that good defenders are as important as a superb striker to build and ATTACKING team. Buying a really good CB for next season is a must.
  21. There are different techniques. The worst one, I think is the only one possible here: someone send some questions via pm, and gets the replies. Then the person who are making the interview makes send more questions regarding the subjects of the answers that person just received. As Choulo said, we need volunteers, and to decide where we are going to post the interviews and the periodicity of the whole thing.
  22. I don't understand your point. People who for some reason like to stay anonymous decline the interview. Simple.
  23. If people are interviewed every day or week, it will get boring quickly, but this forum has enough interesting people arriving every year to make this thing work for a while.
  24. I just think it might be a cool idea. To interview members, every month, every week, I don't know. You know, you see those names "zolayes", "liosden", "only place to be", with those avatars. Who are those people? Why do they support Chelsea? What do they do for living? What are their passions? I think when of the reasons people are really offensive to each other sometimes, its because they don't realize there is a person behind that avatar+user name. For me "zolayes" is just someone that hates Henrique, "only place to be" and "liosden" are a "brazilian haters", but I'm sure those people are more complex than that. I would like to know what everyone thinks about football, managers importance, favorite players in the world, best teams they had watched in their lifetime, the ideal playing style, their football heroes and other interesting topics. Not sure if its gonna work, but I think interviews are really cool.
