Torres does still have decent pace, you can't deny that. Doesn't make him a good footballer though. Anyone remember quite recently the Arsenal game where he surged past Vermaelen (who isn't a slouch himself) only to mess it up by completely overrunning it? Again, he does have pace to a certain extent, but it seems like he's completely forgotten how to exploit it.

We want Begovic because he's home grown talent I think. Seeing as Turnbull is off at the end of the season too it wouldn't be a bad signing. We could wait till the summer though ideally and focus on what's more important today.

I think we will but only because the teams around us are dropping points too. We're pretty much fucked though. I see what you mean but regarding his chance, I don't think he failed to control it... He just tried to hit it first time with his weaker foot which was a bad decision. What he should've done is controlled it, taken on his man and he'd probably have a better chance of scoring.

How good was Varane in the El Clasico mind? Storming performance.

It won't happen... I remember when betting was suspended on Harry Redknapp to take over from Ancelotti too but surprise surprise - AVB took over a week or so after.
