At the same time, at a big club like Chelsea you can't expect anyone who came in with a big fee to automatically gain his team mates trust. I mean this CFC squad have seen players like Fernando Torres who came in at £50m or Shevchenko who came in at £30m flounder so it's only natural that you have to start proving yourself through training and in game situations, which is exactly what Hazard has done in recent weeks. It's exactly why his team mates are trusting him more now. It's just human nature, especially at a big club with many excellent players like I mentioned before.

Go check if you want, earlier in this thread I and a few others were very much against us signing Falcao. Yes, he's a brilliant goal getter, but he honestly doesn't fit into the system we're trying to create here. I'm glad people have finally realised Falcao isn't the best option for us now. Especially now Lukaku's flourishing, I don't think we really need another striker. I proposed earlier this season that my ideal strikeforce would consist of Cavani/Sturridge/Lukaku but now that we have Ba and Lukaku's come along quite nicely, I think that a Lukaku/Ba/third choice striker is the way forward. Lukaku's a risk, but so is signing a big name striker for £50m+. I think I'd rather risk the former, since Lukaku does have the potential to become an absolute monster. It's time to start giving faith and responsibility to our upcoming from next season onwards IMO.

Also don't forget Villa is very decent out wide or behind the striker as a second striker. Would be a good signing yeah.

Are you guys serious? This guy offers SO much more than Torres. His link up play and movement was superb today, he gave Mata & Hazard the platform and space to do what they did today. You seriously don't get that with Torres. Torres wouldn't have got into those positions to begin with. Okay, he was off with his finishing today. But you seriously can't compare ONE bad game (finishing wise) compared to TWO years of hell with Torres. Surely you guys are more intelligent than that?
