I'd start Chalobah and Josh in CM. Both complement each other very nicely if you think about it. For what Josh lacks in physicality, Nat makes up, and for what Nat lacks in vision, Josh makes up.

Nah, Fernando was decent today, bar that horrendous shot. He linked up play pretty well, responded well to grab his 20th goal of the season. Still not good enough to lead the line though.

Not much to say about the game... Rafa Benitez got his tactics spot on tonight, must be said. Never even got out of our 2nd gear, never really chased the game apart from the first couple of minutes of the second half... Hazard ran the show, Cech bailed us out at times, and Luiz's goal... No words can describe how sweetly he hit that. MOTM Hazard.

Oh come off it, his goal was absolutely superb, but overall he hasn't done anything special in midfield. He's been average in his general play. No one's said he's shit at midfield, he's versatile enough to play ANYWHERE on the pitch, but it's gonna take him seasons before he gets fully accustomed to the role, and frankly, we don't have time for that.

Hazard's fine, he hasn't played 10 games in a row unlike Luiz or even as many games as Azpi if I'm not incorrect.

Please Rafa bring on Ake for Luiz, Maybe Ferreira for Azpi.

Well, I disagree to be honest. I think he'd be a good signing given a decent price, sometimes you need a change of scenery in order for you to get back on top. I'm not saying he's the only option we should look at, but I wouldn't complain about his signing, IMO he's still one of the best in his position and can give us 3/4 years of top level play. I'd be happy with either him, Modric or Moutinho.

And if Ramires and Lampard scored... We've been okay, Basel are a decent team looking to score, of course they're going to create a chance or two. I still expect us to go through, we just need to step it up a gear. We're playing in third gear at the moment.

We could've easily been up by a goal or two if Lampard or Ramires took their chances.
