  1. You're not being fair at all IMO. This is RLC 2nd's senior game, too harsh.
  2. Girl: Cesc, can you come over right now? Cesc: I can't right now baby, playing against West Brom at the moment. Girl: But I'm horn- Cesc:
  3. Ake came on when the game was at 3-0, how can you even put any substance into him having a good game? I don't understand. He was alright, didn't do anything spectacular. Who's sugarcoating performances now?
  4. So you rate Ake's game as so good but thought RLC's performance was very very average?
  5. ...or you could just watch some youth games and decide for yourself as well...
  6. Watch the ball to Costa again, he wasn't offside, the replay showed that he was just onside. How about when West Brom were on the break (I think it was a 3 v 2/3 situation) and RLC did brilliant defensively to prevent it? Considering the circumstances, he had a good game and was definitely one of our better players. Had a few nice dribbles as well. He's still playing within himself though, but that's expected considering this his second PL game. You guys are just too harsh.
  7. Luis was awful, probably his worst game in a CFC shirt but Cahill wasn't exactly brilliant either. Cesc didn't even play much for anyone to call him a flop even though what he did was stupid, and Costa, well, this is first game in months so what else were we going to expect?
  8. To me, he shouldn't even be playing as a 6 because that just restricts him. He's a pure B2B midfielder and hasn't really been allowed to do such. It was a good game from him, honestly. You clearly haven't watched him for the youth team at all... Give him some time. This is the kid's second PL game and he's still playing within himself, so imagine a confident RLC strutting his usual stuff? The through ball to Costa was fine btw, linesman made a mistake. I think apart from his ball to Hazard, he didn't give the ball away. Give him some time to feel comfortable. Commentators even thought he was superb. He had three or four dribbles in the game that was more like the usual Loftus-Cheek. I'm waiting for him to get more game time and get more confident, and get used to PL football a bit more. He's coming along nicely.
  9. Don't forget he was out injured for quite a long time.
  10. How did he look clueless? Was he ever caught out of position? Admittedly, his strengths definitely isn't defensively but he still had a good game in that regards. He wasn't the flashiest but was composed, tidy. Played a bit within himself though. I'd like to see him take a few more risks. I'm not really gonna compare Ake to him either considering Ake has been part of the senior side for much longer and has had a lot more games. Plus the fact that they're different players.
  11. RLC was really good today. EDIT: Can't believe Matic missed that.
  12. It's so over IMO. We've lost our heart beat in Fabregas. I'm just going to try and enjoy this game as much as possible, just want RLC to be given a bit more freedom. He's been way too safe. He needs to step it up a bit and drive the ball forward.
  13. Hell of a pass from Fabregas, must say. Headshot.
  14. I always thank the stars that MrBlueGuy isn't our manager.
  15. If anything, Isco plays more like a CM at Real than a CAM. Also, David Silva makes many more key passes than Oscar but has less assists so...
  16. How is Oscar more versatile and how does he have a better end product? How in the world is Oscar just as creative as Isco as well? (And don't give me stats, by that reasoning Oscar is more creative than David Silva and we know that just isn't true). The only thing Oscar is is possibly better defensively and even then it isn't by much. He isn't a much better goalscorer either (considering Isco never gets to play in his natural position, he hasn't grabbed that many more goals than him).
  17. You just said Oscar is better than Isco based on those attributes...
  18. So is Oscar also better than David Silva because he's better in the air and defensively better and is better at set pieces?
  19. That's you. Just because he didn't celebrate the goals doesn't mean he is on his way back. It's pretty normal for players to do. Even Sturridge didn't celebrate when he scored against us some time ago.
  20. LAM09's point is that it's different doing it with Vitesse than with an Ajax or PSV. I agree.
  21. Better goalscorer and better defensively perhaps, but versatile? No. Isco is just as versatile as Oscar.Isco is far more naturally talented than Oscar is and sees the game a lot better. He's the better dribbler, better passer, more effective in the final third... And is still very competent defensively. Goal scoring? Not a lot in it at all either. When it comes to pure, natural footballing ability... It's not even close IMO.
