This is not true. He has just 5 games as AM and 2 assists and 1 penalty won. But look at this game for example he played AM and ended up with 1 assist ad 1 pen won. But could easily had 4 assists. Under Tuchel he is one of the 3 most offensive players and even under Frank he played winger many times.

Last season maybe even the season before he started really slow but than turned into beast mode for Leverkusen in the second part of the season. First part of the season: 2 goals and 1 assist. 2nd part: 16 goals 8 assists. He had many set backs this season: new league without pre season, manager who didn't want him, played out of position, Covid and this latest injury. But he is fit now. Can we expect something similar from him now in Chelsea? I expect him to explode at some point. Probably next season.

Atletico this season play with wing backs as well.
