I was actually in keeping Tomori train, calling out Frank for letting him go got me banned on Shed end but ok... Ok, lets not count Spezia but still your numbers are wrong. They lost to Lazio, Sassuolo and Napoli, plus draw with Sampdoria. That is 11 points lost with Tomori not 7. Plus he played 5 games in other competitions and Milan did not won a single one. Ofc he should not score goals but this 2 clean sheets in 16 games with him does not look good. I pointed out at that. They have same number of loses with Romagnoli and Tomori this season. 3 in the league. Romagnoli played much more. Under Frank I also asked why he does not play more because Rudi and Chris were shit but I will not miss Tomori now because Chris, Rudi, Silva, Azpi are all playing great... Varane will most likely come so no place for him here. About Gallagher vs Mount... For me still the only difference between them is that one got opportunity at Chelsea other still didnt. Gallagher did have better season than Mount in Championship but was not fortunate to get 4000 mins in Chelsea next season (this season) so how do you know if he would not play better here than Mount? They have similar work rate, and you do not think Conor would score 4 or 5 goals in 4000 mins and get some assists? One thing is certain he would have at least one open play assist which Mount still did not do and is playing AM for top4 club with most minutes in the squad while 12 different Chelsea players have open play assist and 2 GKs in the league. If you take away set pieces and teams that will get relegated Mount has 1 goal and 0 assist this season in the league and is playing 2/3 of the season as one of the 3 most offensive players.

Just 2 clean sheets with him for Milan in 17 games. I think people are over rating him because Romagnoli got dropped for him but that decision looks very stupid now. Milan was 1st on table for majority of first part of the season and now 5th. Losing to Lazio at HT.

And he scored today. Not sure why no one wants to give us at least 15m for him.

Pretty much Perez confirmed he is leaving and Varane said PL next step. Liverpool already got Konate and Kabak and Utd is apparently focused on Kounde.

I would not do either. His fee would not be more than 10m. 32yo this summer with one year left on contract. Keep him for next season and if he is still performing good in the end of the next season we can speak about 1 year extension if not let him go for free.

Zero open play assists in the league. That is like Werner having zero league goals or Mendy having zero clean sheets. 12 different players managed open play assists this season but Mount is not among them. Keep in mind position he plays and the fact that he is 1st in team in minutes played. By far actually. Mount 2546 minutes. Werner 2243 Kante 2021 (2 open play assists). Chilwell 1939 James 1917 Azpi 1846 Jorginho 1752 Kovacic 1694 Pulisic 1376 Havertz 1342 Abraham 1020 CHO 999 Ziyech 995 minutes played. All these players managed at least one open play assist. Considering his position and minutes played I think it would be weird if he is 2nd on the list or 3rd. But not only that he is not 2nd, 3rd... He is not at all on the list! Ederson and Johnstone! 2 GKs managed one open play assist this season! But not our attacking midfielder with most minutes in the squad. Shocking! If I continue to analyse his offensive game you may find more interesting stats... Only 8 players have more shots on goal in the league. Kane, Salah, Bruno, Bamford, Mane, Watkins, KDB and Firmino. So he is a bit wasteful there as well. There have been situations where instead of shooting he should maybe pass and make assist. We praise him for corners but he has 118 corners taken which resulted with 3 goals. Chilwell took 26 corners - 1 goal, James 24 corners - 1 goal and Ziyech 19 corners - 1 goal. So in terms of percentage they are all better at set pieces. 6 goals is solid but 4 came against teams that will be relegated and one from penalty. By saying all this I totally expect him to win POTY because he is favourite player for 90% of our fans.

Worth mentioning that Ederson played 5 more games.

Hmm, stats show something interesting. I do not remember but look at this: Torres in his first full season here 11/12: 11 goals 16 assists. (This is from Transfermarkt so they count penalties won but the same goes for Werner). 3040 minutes played. Werner this season: 11 goals 12 assists. 3190 minutes. When people praise Werner they always say assists, penalties won etc... But was the same narrative with Torres? Because this clearly shows that he also did good job there.

You dont think he can play in double pivot? I think with 5 at the back plus 2 defensive midfielders we are way to defensive which limits our attack massively. Put SMS there and this changes. We really need MF like this. Jorginho, Kante and Kova offer nothing offensively. Gilmour will go on loan so we are one injury away from having no player to rotate in MF. Mendy Varane Silva (Chris) Rudiger James Kovacic(Kante) SMS Chilwell Plus front 3. Could be amazing!

For me biggest game since Munich night. So in the last 9 years! We played semi final in 13/14 but after winning two European titles in a row it did not felt so important. EL finals also, we were huge favorites before the games against Benfica and Arsenal. Plus it is not CL. 2 titles in PL in this period but we won them relatively comfy with 8 and 7 points ahead of rivals. I never felt our titles are in danger. And now this! Facing Real for the first time in decades! I think we have good chances, we just need to be clinical. They play tonight without Kroos, Ramos, Lucas, Mendy, Valverde. Hazard still not match fit. COME ON Chelsea! WE CAN DO THIS!

If we get Varane and keep all the guys who are performing great Azpi, Rudi, Silva, Chris. Wonder how our back 3 will look like? I think Azpi would lose starting spot (plus getting old).

It is so unfair how in football in general attacking players always get more praise. We have 2nd best defense in the league. Actually best if you count only Tuchels time. But we are 7th in goals scored. Could be 8th if Leeds score tomorrow. This is why POTY should be Mendy or some defender. Did they did their job consistently good? Yes. Can you say that for any MF or attacker? No.

This is why he has zero open play assists this season.
