Well, we won CL as a counter attacking team. If teams just park the bus against us we were/are clueless. In CL knockout stage campaign we scored 9 goals in 7 games. Nothing special? And on the road to final we faced 3 mediocre teams. Of these 9 goals Jorginho for Mount and Werner goal against Real after great Kante/Havertz play are 2 only positioning goals after good attacking play. Against Atletico Giroud wonder goal after not really promising cross by Alonso and at home 2 counter attacks with all the space in the world. Porto 2nd goal was big mistake in their defense (Chilwell goal). Against Madrid Rudiger long ball for Pulisic and 2nd goal at home was just like against Atletico. They went all in attack and we had all the space in the world when it was already game over. Final was also counter attack. Look, I am not trying to downplay this success.
