We have very strong core of players that every team would wish for. Cucurella, Colwill, James, Caicedo, Enzo, Palmer, Pedro... I'm sure even you don't think they need upgrading?
Very happy with Neto so far. Estevao is most exciting player coming from South America since Neymar more than a decade ago. Thrilled we got him! Even Roman never pulled those deals. Excited with what is coming from Hato, Acheampong and Santos. We are talking world class potential here. All agreed Chalobah, Tosin and are great squad options and that Delap is great pickup for a backup.
Lavia has injury problems unfortunately otherwise looks amazing when available.
Even Gusto looks solid recently.
Garnacho gets a lot of hate but clearly wants to be here so let's give him a chance could surprise many. Have a positive feeling about him. Calling him names without him kicking the ball...

Let's see how long is Delap out shouldn't be that long with hamstring injury unless it's grade 3. Plus international breaks coming. Saying Pedro injury away from disaster well ofc, every team on the planet playing with one striker and losing first two options would feel devastated.

Again, think Garnacho is great pickup for that price. You probably wanted Rodrygo for twice as much who scored same number of goals last season in the much weaker league with much better teammates.
In the end it's all down to GK and new CB which majority wanted but club opted against it and stats back their thinking. Selling non important players for almost 300m is amazing work because it gave us the chance to reinforce our attack which was biggest problem last season and we addressed it with 4 new players there Delap, Pedro, Garnacho and Gittens plus Estevao.
In the end of the day every team has weaknesses. City won 100 points with Zinchenko/Delph as LB. Real won CL and the league without a striker except backup Joselu.
