  1. Just saw a James Cordon ad on my stream.
  2. Yeah just wait until we see the Gallagher + Sterling striker partnership.
  3. Going to be another eye sore of a performance.
  4. Right but how much influence did Edwards have in those deals? He was heavily involved in player identification since 2016.
  5. I'm more arguing against the notion Klopp had full control.
  6. Didn't Klopp want Brandt and Edwards opted for Salah? Also could of sworn there was more than one situation like that with Klopp/Edwards.
  7. Saw an analysis on him and that apparently his link up play in the box is very good and his better than Kane in the build up phase. Serie A tax and all that but very promising stats.
  8. Think James and Mount are starting their surgeries now vs at the end of the season where they'll show up to preseason unfit. Hope this means they miss international duty as well and can just focus on coming back 110% at preseason.
  9. If this were FIFA i'd probably would've gotten relegated for the amount of times I did that.
  10. Particularly when you are asked to fine tune a defensive game when your attack consists of Mbappe, Neymar, and Messi. Tracking back and pressing is Chinese to them.
  11. Serial winners in Mourinho and Conte also failed at Spurs.
  12. How is Poch boring? He genuinely made Kane and elevated a tremendous amount of players through his coaching alone.
  13. I think if Vivell and Co are saying they don't agree with their own man Nagelsmann, that says more about the manager than the club.
  14. The report seems like it was the club that turned down Nagelsmann, not the other way around?
  15. I'd rather you keep drinking the same drink that helped you perform at the highest level and build on that, vs replacing that drink and ruining everything by getting a lemonade brand that was always destined to make you sick. Perhaps you view Tuchel as some mythical figure that can do no wrong, but you've seriously deluded yourself if you think he has no accountability on the Lukaku signing or that the club went over his head and got Lukaku without his permission.
  16. You're missing my point. That decision is still ultimately yours, and using your analogy if all the signs pointed to that store brand lemonade making you sick, and you still decided to buy it despite all signs pointing not to, that is still on you. This also isn't a case of certain options being significantly better than one another given Tuchel publicly stated he wanted Lukaku and praised his qualities when we bought him.
  17. No he specifically mentioned Kane, Lukaku, and Haaland were the strikers he'd like added to the team. This is also a direct quote from him after we signed him. Doesn't sound like a manager that never wanted or valued him.
  18. Would be just like us to sign Toney and then the FA slap a 8 month ban on him.
  19. No player will succeed so long as we have managers who offer such directionless tactics and vision.
  20. Tuchel has publicly stated he wanted Lukaku as a striker just weeks before we signed him.
  21. I think he was left on gardening leave for a set period, to which we would need to pay off the remaining amount should we employ him.
  22. To be honest the thought of Poch getting the best out of the likes of Enzo, Mudryk, Madueke, Nkunku, Santos, etc really excites me.
  23. In his defence, one must argue if the Spurs culture is the main reason why he didn't win anything with them. When serial winners in Mourinho and Conte failed at Spurs.
  24. Bar Mudryk (who I still think is a good player) think the young players we've brought in were smartly invested and will flourish under a proper manager. Issue is we've completely ignored the present, as bar Enzo all of our immediate impact signings have been disasterous..
