  1. Yeah if there is genuine interest the recruitment team need to determine if he is coachable in that aspect (defensive contribution) or if the trade off is worth it. (his creative metrics vs his poor off the ball work rate). Personally think he'd be a luxury at this point. That Brazilian CAM we are close to signing looks a talent.
  2. Wouldn't Colwill technically be Silva's heir? I'd say a DM and a CM are the only priorities imo.
  3. We were kind of slowing down in the latter of 2007 season. Mourinho's lack of sustainable attacking impetus was showing and the team needed a resurgence somewhere. Ancelotti coming on in 2007/2008 season would of been mental.
  4. Soft as shit. Justice prevails. Well done England. Colwill better have that #26 kit waiting for him when he arrives at Cobham.
  5. Boehly didn't purchase Lukaku for a record fee when all signs pointed it being a disaster. Boehly didn't ignore the midfield for 4 years. Boehly didn't mess up Rudiger and Christensen's contracts. Boehly wasn't in charge of that disaster 2017 transfer window which set us backwards for years. Boehly was the one responsible for giving extensions to dross like Rahman and Bakayoko and Batshuayi? Lots of things to blame Clearlake for but to pretend it was all sunshine and rainbows under Roman is a lie, especially towards the latter end. Lot of the issues we are seeing now are because of the former regime. I'd keep him for the sole fact Chiwell too has been poor. Hall inexperienced but showed the most promise. Let all three battle it out during preseason. Too many passengers.
  6. He'd need to hand in a transfer request then.
  7. This is United's 2nd bid for Onana in 2 weeks and is likely to be rejected again. They also low balled an offer for Hojlund which will also be likely rejected. Can't ignore they spent over a month to try and secure Mount. Their way of business is chaotic. We on the other hand, are actually meeting with Brighton face to face in order to complete this. No random bids every other day. Face to face negotiations to get this done given how much of a ball breaker Bloom is. Hasn't even been a week yet. - Jackson and Nkunku already in. - Santos in All we need is a CM and GK and we are fine.
  8. If we buy Vlahovic then the recruitment team isn't as good as I thought they were.
  9. It'll be quite telling if player power + our horrid record against the Top 6 vanish in time.
  10. Yeah if wages are an issue we'd lower the asking price. Like with RLC.
  11. Adding incentivized contracts and a manager who won't accept anything less than 100% consistency, the rats scamper off.
  12. Romano just said it isn't true. Reckon we stick with Jackson and Broja.
  13. It's just the recycled news stating we've agreed the fixed price of 75m and are working on bonuses. We will need to if we want to continue the 4231 with 4 attackers. To counter balance one of the wingbacks need to be inverted to help in midfield.
  14. Anyone else wouldn't mind keeping Ampadu? Emergency DM? Enzo Caicedo Santos Ampadu
  15. Can we get a CM that has some bite/aggression in midfield? Even with Caicedo and Santos its looking weak.
  16. It makes sense now when Liverpool provided the strongest interest from the bat, but Mount only wanted United......
  17. 250-300kpw on a 6 year deal. Yeah good fucking bye. 😂
  18. Spanish Harry Maguire. Can't even start over Rodri at CB for Spain.
  19. That Rice, Havertz, Odegaard midfield is going to be scenes.
  20. Because either June 30th is a soft deadline or the club are willing to take the FFP hit.
  21. Certainly does have a lot of good to say about Pep and City....Bloke was itching to leave.
  22. Jackson was the good business opportunity. I can't see anything else. Think we need to count our blessings and focus on midfield now.
