  1. Can you imagine the damage he will cause if the opposition give him as much time and space as they did with Willian?
  2. So Lampard wants this for next season then? Onana James---Tomori---Rice---Chilwell Kante Havertz-----Mount Ziyech----------------Pulisic Werner
  3. We close games out (like we should be doing) the defence can cope for the time being until reinforcements arrive.
  4. Amazing. Pulisic/Werner/Ziyech/Havertz will give us one of the most threatening attacks in the world.
  5. How do we even know Rice is as good a CB as who we currently have? From what I've sen from him, he's excelled as a DM who sits and protects the back line. We have no one that can do that efficiently.
  6. Right, but as CB? I would love him here and have he and Kante in the pivot against Top sides.
  7. Russia saving the world like it's 1945.
  8. I don't think that's ever been the case for us. Courtois was lured because he was homesick and Hazard never down tools his final season. Tides are turning. England is slowly becoming the European power house much like it was in 2005-10. Add to the fact we average a trophy a season and regularly compete in Europe, there isn't much evidence to suggest players will want to leave.
  9. That was accounted for the 2019 books.
  10. I can't remember a time we sold a player for 100 million.
  11. GK and LB possibly. Still think we may get Dunk as well.
  12. Remember the window closes in October. Havertz, Reguilon, Dunk/Rice/White, and a GK can realistically be done.
  13. I think that's the very reason as to why Lampard wants to fix the attack before the defence. Having enough quality up front to close games out in the matter Liverpool and City do on a consistent basis. Having enough quality will diminish our 'predictability' in the final third, which has helped teams counter us on several occasions this season.
  14. He and Pedro gone frees up 12 million in annual wages.
  15. He has better stats whilst being 2 years younger than Lampard on their debut Chelsea seasons. Bit bewildering how many don't take that into consideration and the likelihood he will grow and develop into a top player.
  16. On paper it looks good but there is zero balance with Kante+Kovacic together.
  17. To be quite frank (No pun intended), I think having a defensive midfielder who will sit in front of the defence will fix a lot of issues. Teams carve through us given the gaps there are in midfield. Completely imbalanced. Jorginho is slow and defensively poor. Kante isn't a natural holding midfielder, and Kovacic's best attribute is working out of a press. We have no one.
  18. Thing is, we can account the €20m for Bakayoko for the year on the books if we sell him. The same applies for every player we sell. For Havertz, I believe we only account for a portion of his fee on the books. Same goes for any player that comes in.
