Except a lot of people are forgetting he 'improved' by playing in a league where his limitations on the ball are played down given how slow the league is in comparison to the Premier League. I have no doubt in my mind he will score goals, but the amount of build up he will ruin will have us pulling our hair similar to United fans.

You'd expect this against the Liverpools and Citys but I'd expect heavy rotation against mid table/bottom half sides.

The more I watch Broja the more I am favoring going into the season with Havertz, Werner, and Broja as the CF options.

We are getting property shafted with that deal. Obviously West Ham value Rice highly, but if we are comparing price to quality, we are essentially offering West Ham 80-85 million worth of players for someone who is 40 million tops.

He's as a defensive midfielder as you could get. A skill set our current midfield is missing. One of those players that make things look simple hence why many discredit his quality.
