  1. Player himself probably wants a move. Average age of our 6 attacking wingers/midfielders is 23, so he probably sees no way in.
  2. I'm personally looking forward to it. I rigorously started watching the premier league back in 2006 where Ronaldo was first entering his "prime", so to see him back will just be so nostalgic.
  3. Zlatan scored 28 goals when he was 35 at United.
  4. Offers more on the ball but in terms of influence I'd say they are on par. A midfield three of Lampard/Makelele/Kante would've been incredible.
  5. T-markt is a load of nonsense. I don't buy into it and its all made up by random people. I was checking Drinkwater's market value from the time we bought him, and according to T-markt he was only worth 15 million after orchestrating Leicester to arguably the greatest upset in sports history.
  6. The fact Ronaldo basically whored himself to City because of his insecurities towards Messi is hilarious.
  7. One of their greatest ever players played for City.
  8. Pretty good CV for a player of his quality.
  9. “Option to buy @ specified price”
  10. Marina probably took into account his market value. That and the player is pushing for the move.
  11. PSG publicly stated they don't want to lose Mbappe on a free. There's also reports Liverpool are strongly interested.
  12. It does give 2014/2015 vibes. A victory this weekend will definitely create a lot of optimism.
  13. Saul and Kante pair would be very, very strong.
  14. Please tell me you don't believe that. Clear as day it was Willian and now it just gives further proof.
  15. He gets back to form he'd displace Kovacic easily.
  16. Kante's hamstrings need to be managed. So he will be rotated heavily. That leaves only Kovacic and Jorginho to be relied on for the duration of the season. Saul is needed. I don't think rotation will be an issue.
  17. It'll be loan with option. With Pepe, Luiz + Willian, and on top of the other ridiculous transfers that led to nothing, how does Edu still have his job?
  18. We've already seen signs with some of his performances and diabolical passing. Jorginho also continued to start after those performances such as West Brom and Arsenal because he is the only holder we have that creates a balanced midfield. Tuchel doesn't have much of a choice. I love what Jorginho offers but I would be god damned if we go into the season knowing he is our only holding midfielder.
  19. You can see the complacency in his game at times. Be it being overplayed or lack of urgency given he knows he will always start.
  20. It is tricky. - I'd opt for Chilwell because we will need pace against Salah and TAA. - Werner is a must. - I'd also add Lukaku to battle VVD. - Havertz/Mount's trickier by dropping in midfield and having free roles caused Arsenal so many problems. I'd opt for one of them and if we are in need of a goal bring on Ziyech/Pulisic.
  21. Yesterday showed yet again why relying solely on Jorginho as the holder would be a mistake. He was very leggy and defensively just poor. Giving him unlimited minutes with no real competition for him will have us see more of last season's West Brom and Arsenal performances where he literally gifts goals.
  22. I'd rather Pulisic who can actually take players on.
  23. Werner should be no where near the small sides and their low block. It should be Pulisic/Lukaku/Ziyech.
  24. Kounde/Christensen/Rudiger/Dave/Silva/Chalobah Not bad.
  25. We should have an idea early October.
