Tuchel publicly stated he wanted a #9 who was a presence in the box and had his back against defenders. He then went on to praise the likes of Haaland, Lewa, Kane, and Lukaku. From everything I've gathered, he pushed for this move. If this move sets us back, (which already has) he needs to be held accountable.

There's also a self confidence issue. We've completely lost it. Maybe due to certain player uncertainties? Don't get me wrong. I back the club fully in not wanting to extend certain players contracts and rightfully upgrading on them, but you do wonder if this has taken a toll on the players and Tuchel in particular. Rudiger is as good as gone. Christensen and Dave seem to be both out the door. Barkley and Saul have nothing to play for anymore. Talks the club won't extend Jorginho's contract. Kante's fitness issues remain a concern for the club so there is a delay there.

Output isn't my main concern. It's forming a dynamic front three that can be cohesive together in the long run. You look at Chiesa at Juventus and he is the only player pressing and providing any sort of dynamism. They look to him similarly to how we looked at Hazard to create anything. For me, he is playing in a system and with players that don't complement him. He presses, he isn't predictable in his attack, two footed, and a workhorse. He would thrive in our set up and especially with Mount.
